How's this for stupid:
If you store a Tesla for a few weeks on a charger and come back to it - it will be fully charged but won't let you open the door or function at all. You can't open the front trunk either. Unfortunately, in the front trunk is a 12V battery that is only charged when the main batter pack charges - once the pack is full the whole charger switches off and the 12V battery begins to discharge.
The fix is to manually open the trunk from under the wheel arches, remove a bunch of trim and pipes, recharge the 12V battery manually and then all will be good.
Pretty stupid eh…
