(Was supposedly born premature in 1988 and father said strange things growing up)… Hmm… I did always used to say I was an escaped genetic engineering experiment, given my physical distinction from my brothers (even though that gap has narrowed as we have aged).

Frankly, I have no idea why that would have been classified aside from the mentions of the USSR and USA working closely together and claims of insider sources. I would argue it is probably just the product of cold war paranoia sweeping up any sign of political dissent.

However… Strange things my Dad said…. Hard to sum it up in a verbal statement, but what I wouldn't give to have the man to talk to, today.

Yeah, no.

His last Surat was at tawbah - the infamous Surat 9.

What you describe is not within the Qu'ran, nor is it within the Hadith. It is a piece that is not used or cited by any Islamic religious authority, but is found plenty on the advertising brochures.

The issue of the internet bill of rights will be addressed when the scope of the surveillance and its abuse is broken, fully, to the public.

It will be a constitutional crisis when it does, and there will be plenty of heated discussions over it, then.

Tried that back when idiots were still pushing the AT&T IBOR idea because Q linked to it.

Was told anons are here to meme. Complex discussion not our thing.

So, I basically wrote the whole initiative off, and will likely continue to do so until people interested in a discourse on the nature of an IBOR present themselves.

In the notables. Or was.

I believe this relates to Q's questions about POTUS interviewing Mueller, military service, and ability to be recalled to active commission.

Not my battle.

The problem with an IBOR is the nature of rights within the U.S. Constitution. They are either powers as they relate to governmental branches (which branch/tier reserves the authority for what processes), or denials of authority to any government power. Congress shall make no law….

Because we do not yet have a full disclosure of the scope and nature of the spying problem, it is difficult to have a meaningful discussion of how to construct further restrictions on government's authority to prevent private companies from organizing to become governments unto themselves.

It's a constitutional crisis because it represents something of a new frontier in governmental power and authority as the powers of privately held companies rival or exceed the government in a very personal or intimate way. Worse than the East India Trade Company…. Or … Yeah… Name is mixing with references to it in fictional media.

I can agree that some new groundwork is needed, but am juggling several things at the moment. I'm very much a "you get one from me" type of person. There are some issues I will beat into the ground - but a lot of others will be fun little nuggets for e-archaelogists researching this time period to happen across.
