Daytime soap actors fired for refusing clotshot

 

the character of jason morgan on general hospital was written out of the script at the end of november. wifeanon has since learned the actor (Steve Burton) who plays the part refused to comply with a clotshot mandate from the production company (ABC Signature), and as a result the company declined to renew his contract.

anecdotally, the character of jason morgan is a mob enforcer, but in fact is the most admirable character on the show… fearless, loyal, incorruptible, kind, generous, patient, stoic… a man of integrity. seems some of those same characteristics apply to the man, Steve Burton.

 

On November 23, 2021, Burton announced that he had been released from his contract due to failure to comply with the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Burton filmed his last scenes on October 27 and made his final appearance as Jason on November 19.

ahhh… the character was presumably killed in a tunnel collapse, no body recovered, rescue/recovery ops abandoned when they failed to detect any sign of life. they would have to bring him back first in order to kill him off with the covid.

 

but anon raises an interesting point… why HASN'T hollywood killed of any script characters with the covid? good question….

an old rabbi goes into a custom leather shop and hands the owner two grocery bags full of foreskins.
