MOST people can be left to their own devices and make adequate and healthy decisions about things close to them. (even to the benefits of larger civilization beyond them, that they need to know nothing about)
By that same “MOST” concept:
MOST people are naturally and easily confused about the necessary and proper decisions needed by people at distance from them. Thus the slight-of-hand trick of skullfucking people into Democracy on ever larger and larger scales. The bastards are very good at that.
