The Washington Free Beacon reported today that Jesse Sullivan has a hardcore leftist background.

A venture capitalist running in Illinois’s Republican gubernatorial primary is a relative newcomer to the right. Fifteen years ago, Jesse Sullivan founded a self-described “social justice” magazine that has defended riots and abortion.

Sullivan, a political neophyte who ran a San Francisco-based nonprofit before launching his gubernatorial bid in early September, founded the magazine One World in 2006 while a student at St. Louis University. The publication had financial support from left-wing groups like the Center for American Progress, whose Goal Was To “counter the growing influence of right-wing groups on campus.” In the years that followed, One World published articles Dismissing riots in Ferguson, Mo., as the work of “a few troublemakers” amid “an entire crowd.” Four years later, in 2018, the magazine Expressed Support for the “legal right to choose” to have an abortion.

As the state’s gubernatorial primary heats up—three other Republicans have already announced their candidacy, with state senator Darren Bailey considered an early favorite—Sullivan is distancing himself from the magazine as he charts a campaign whose centerpieces include public safety and the right to life.

A Sullivan campaign spokesman told the Washington Free Beacon that the Illinois Republican founded the publication “when he was in college doing humanitarian work,” though Sullivan remained on One World‘s masthead as the magazine’s “visionary” long after his graduation. His campaign says that role came with “zero involvement or editorial oversight.” At the same time, Sullivan appears to have remained involved with the magazine, headlining its 10-year anniversary celebration in 2016. A campaign spokesman said he spoke at the event “as a courtesy.”

“The suggestion that Jesse agrees with the viewpoints of a magazine he has had nothing to do with, is laughable,” Sullivan’s campaign said in a statement. “Let’s get back to the issues at hand and leave the cancel culture to the liberals and political hacks.”

North Carolina Parents Identify Over 100 Book Titles Containing Obscene Content, File CRIMINAL Charges Against Wake County School Board

Parents in Wake County, North Carolina have filed charges against school board officials for the lewd content that they have discovered in children’s school books.

The parents paid a visit to the Wake County District Attorney’s office today, “to follow up on the criminal complaints against the Wake County Public School System”.

The same leftist mob that canceled Dr. Suess is forcing sexually explicit content onto children as young as four.

The Gateway Pundit reported on one of these school books, “Lawn Boy”, which references 10-year old fourth-graders engaging in homosexual actions and using language like “his little salamander between my fourth-grade fingers rapidly engorging with blood”.

A concerned mother told her school board, “Who normalizes sex acts between fourth graders? I’ll tell you who. Pedophiles.”

Lt. Governor of North Carolina Mark Robinson recently exposed this trash in public schools.

Robinson calls out the book titled ‘George,’ which is about a biological boy who wants to “remove his genitals,” ‘Lawn Boy’, referenced above, and, a book called ‘Genderqueer’ that shows disgusting images of oral sex.

Obviously, none of these books should be in the classroom with young children.

Outraged leftists have called for Robinson’s resignation after he exposed the disgusting content that is forced onto children.

Rightfully outraged parents have called for an investigation into the disgusting school board members.

Omicron 4x More Infectious Than Delta, WHO Says Vaccines Should Not Mix

The number of confirmed cases of the omicron variant has topped 1,000 worldwide, and already Britain's health ministry is warning that it expects at least 1MM cases of omicron in the UK alone, as it expects the new strain to supplant delta due to its sheer transmissibility. Whether that actually happens remains to be seen.

The data is still rolling in on both transmissibility and what appears to be significantly reduced severity vs. Delta, but on Thursday Bloomberg noted a Japanese study which found that omicron is 4.2x more transmissible than delta.

The scientist who shared the findings is an official advisor of the Japanese government, which was one of the first governments to close it borders in response to the threat posed by omicron.

Twitter pilots new feature to help users police platform

Social media giant Twitter is teasing a new feature that will allow users to add specifically tailored content warnings to individual tweets, in the latest move for users to police their own platform under new CEO Parag Agrawal.

Twitter users will be able to hide their tweets behind individualized content warnings going forward, a tweet by company account @TwitterSafety announced on Wednesday.

The platform already allows users to add content warnings to all their tweets at once, and the new feature is billed as bringing nuance to the system. Going forward, users will be able to tag single tweets with warnings and specifically categorize those warnings. They’ll be able to flag posts as “nudity,” “violence,” or “sensitive,” and users viewing the poster’s feed will see the image blurred out until they click through the warning, similar to the “disinformation” warnings seen on offending posts on Facebook.

It’s not Twitter’s first move into encouraging users to police themselves. The company announced on Tuesday that it was working on a “human-first” reporting process, meaning that rather than asking a user who reports a tweet what rules the post is breaking, the user will be asked to describe what happened leading up to the reporting process. Based on that disclosure, Twitter will apply – or not apply, as the case may be – a specific violation.

The user will also have the option of subjecting all their tweets to a blanket warning. The latest feature is not available to all users yet, though it will reportedly be rolled out to a “wider audience” in 2022.

Recently appointed CEO Agrawal has wasted no time in reorganizing the company, structuring it under four key pillars rather than having all functions report to the chief executive. The aim is to speed up Twitter’s functioning, founder Jack Dorsey’s replacement explained.

COVID Fact-Check: "ICUs Are Filled With The Unvaccinated"

A few days ago Dr Hillary Jones, whilst being interviewed on Lorraine Kelly, claimed:

90% of people in hospital are unvaccinated”.

According to the UK’s Health Security Agency data (page 31 of this document) 6639 patients were admitted to hospital “with Covid” in the weeks 44-47 of this year. Of those 6639, 2355 were unvaccinated.

So unvaccinated people do not even make up the majority of Covid cases, let alone the majority of ICU admissions in general.

Judge orders 11yo girl to be vaccinated despite father’s objections

A New York judge has ruled that an 11-year-old girl may be vaccinated against Covid-19 despite vocal protests from her dad, siding with the child’s mother amid a lengthy divorce case while claiming the virus poses a “dire” threat.

Monroe County Supreme Court Justice Richard Dollinger ruled against the father, Donald Figer, in a decision last week, saying his daughter Jeannie may be immunized against his wishes at the direction of her mother, who he divorced in 2012. Though the court described Figer as “an accomplished scientist and professor” at a local college, it rejected his concerns about the vaccines outright, insisting that it was not reasonable to expect certainty about their safety or effectiveness.

“Waiting – to be ‘sure,’ as the father asks – is simply untenable, when the specter of a killing or incapacitating disease is swirling in the environment surrounding this young girl,” the judge said in his ruling, adding that the “scientific certainty that the father seeks about complications from the vaccine” was not a legitimate standard.

This Court, weighing the child's best interests, cannot wait for the vaccine's side effects or efficacy to be scientifically established beyond a reasonable doubt… The imminent risk of contracting the disease is too high and the consequences of acquiring it potentially too dire.

“The mother is ordered to schedule an immediate appointment for the child to be administered an age appropriate vaccine from the pediatrician or her office staff as soon as possible,” the ruling continued.

Hundreds clash with police outside Parliament in London

Hundreds of people gathered outside Westminster Palace late on Wednesday to protest against the bill granting sweeping powers to the UK police. The rally quickly spiraled into clashes between protesters and police officers.

The protesters came to Parliament Square in Westminster as the new Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts bill was debated in the House of Lords. The controversial draft legislation would expand police powers to restrict and control all public protests, while reinforcing the punishment for causing a public disturbance.

The demonstrators that arrived at the square were seen carrying banners and placards that read: “Kill the Bill” and “No more police powers.” Some of them were beating drums while others were wearing orange prison uniforms with black hoods over their heads. The protesters were also heard chanting slogans like “who do you protect?” and “who do you serve?”

Tensions were running high at the square as the situation quickly turned violent. Videos published on social media showed protesters scuffling with police as the officers sought to push the densely packed crowd away. Traffic was also briefly brought to a standstill near the Whitehall and Westminster Bridges. Police have yet to comment on these events. It is not clear if anyone was arrested following the incident.

The controversial bill was passed by the House of Commons in July. The draft legislation has been a constant source of public discontent as protest rallies were repeatedly held in London and other British cities to denounce it.

Ex-reality TV star Josh Duggar found guilty in child pornography trial

Josh Duggar is staring down 20 years in prison after an Arkansas jury on Thursday found him guilty of receiving and possessing child porn.

Duggar was found guilty after seven hours of deliberation following a six-day trial, according to NBC’s Fayetteville station KNWA. He is also expected to have to pay fines of up to $250,000 for each charge.

TLC canceled the Duggar family’s show, “19 Kids and Counting,” after reports surfaced that Josh Duggar had molested five girls, including his sisters, when he was a minor. TLC then canceled a spin-off after Duggar was arrested over child porn in April this year.

The defense argued that someone else had downloaded the child porn that was discovered on Duggar’s work computer, according to the Associated Press.

During the trial, a friend of the Duggar family said that Josh had discussed downloading software to up the privacy on his computer.

A different friend of the family testified that Duggar admitted to inappropriately touching girls in 2003 in a conversation with her, and provided more details about what he did in 2005.

The case was prosecuted under the Justice Department’s “Protect Safe Childhood” inaitiative, which works to combat child sex exploitation.

The Justice Department said at the time of his arrest that some of the porn he downloaded had kids under the age of 12 in it.

The sentence will be announced at a later date.

New Bill to Strip the Unvaccinated of Health Insurance if They Get Sick, Force Them to Pay Out of Pocket

President Biden even took to demonizing the unvaccinated, blaming them for the economic downturn, supply chain debacle, and claimed — without merit — that they are “costing jobs.”

Now, the state of Illinois is taking the segregation and discrimination against the unvaccinated one step further by attempting to strip them of their health insurance if they get sick from covid-19 — forcing them to pay for their medical treatment out of pocket.

“I think it’s time that we say: ‘You choose not to get vaccinated, then you’re also going to assume the risk that if you do catch COVID, and you get sick, the responsibility is on you,'” State Representative Jonathan Carroll told the Chicago Sun-Times this week.

The tyrant representative then went on to claim that many have frustrations between those who have “been following the science and … trying to do the right thing” and those who are “choosing not to get vaccinated, who are able to, for whatever they choose.”

Apparently Carroll hasn’t been reading the latest headlines which show hospitalizations are spiking — among the fully vaccinated. In fact, the states with the highest vaccination rates are currently seeing the highest hospitalization rates.

NIH: No Documents Available on Removal of ‘Gain-of-Function’ Definition From Website

No documents exist explaining why officials decided to remove the definition of “gain-of-function research” from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) website, the agency told The Epoch Times.

The NIH site used to include a 232-word definition of the research but it was removed around the same time the agency disclosed that research it funded in China met the definition.

The alteration took place sometime between Oct. 19 and Oct. 21.

The Epoch Times submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for any communications and other documents from between Oct. 1 and Oct. 25 relating to the change, which had been authorized by the NIH Office of Communications and Public Liaison.

The request was closed this week. The NIH told The Epoch Times that it “does not have documentation” on the change other than the updated page.

The Department of Health and Human Services in 2017 published a document explaining how to deal with proposed research involving “enhanced potential pandemic pathogens,” or gain-of-function research. The document narrowed the definition to pathogens both highly transmissible and likely to cause significant sickness or death in humans.

The page in question “had described the general definition of gain-of-function research that fell outside the scope of the HHS P3CO Framework,” an NIH spokeswoman told The Epoch Times in an email in October.

“However, that information was being misused/used incorrectly (and still is) and creating confusion (and still is),” she added, triggering the change.

REPORT: Biden Admin Plans On Advising Ukraine To Hand Over Territory To Russia

President Joe Biden’s administration reportedly plans to push the Ukrainian government to appease Russian President Vladimir Putin by ceding territory, The Associated Press reported Thursday.

Biden held a virtual meeting Tuesday with Putin, during which Biden threatened an “economic” response should Russia invade Ukraine. Russian troops have been amassing on Ukraine’s border for weeks, a nation that has long sought to join NATO but is unlikely to gain membership within the next decade, officials told AP.

U.S. officials reportedly plan to urge Ukraine to grant autonomy to eastern regions that are still controlled by separatists who participated in the 2014 Russia-backed revolt against the Ukrainian government. The eastern Donbas region has held a vague “special status” since the 2014 uprising, a status Ukrainian parliament voted to extend for another year on Dec. 3.

Biden has previously confirmed that deploying U.S. troops to help Ukraine fend off an invasion is not on the table, focusing instead on economic sanctions.

“We have a moral obligation and a legal obligation to our NATO allies if they were to attack under Article 5, it’s a sacred obligation,” Biden said. “That obligation does not extend to NATO – I mean to Ukraine. But it would depend upon what rest of the NATO countries were willing to do as well. But the idea that the United States is going to unilaterally use force to confront Russia invading Ukraine is not on, in the cards right now. What will happen is there will be severe consequences.”

The president’s critics have argued his stance on Ukraine is projecting a message of weakness to the world, and particularly to China. Reporters also pressed the White House on the message Biden’s Ukraine response may send to China at Tuesday’s press briefing. China has long mirrored Russia’s aggression toward Ukraine with its own threats to retake Taiwan by force.

“Some observers have described a nightmare scenario where President Putin invades Ukraine and also simultaneously President Xi uses force to reunify Taiwan with China. Is the U.S. prepared to deal with such a scenario?” a reporter asked national security adviser Jake Sullivan.

“The United States is going to take every action that we can take, from the point of view of both deterrence and diplomacy, to make sure that the Taiwan scenario you just described never happens, and to try to avert the invasion into Ukraine,” Sullivan said. “That is the object of our policy right now. Those are the steps we’re taking.”

Russian troops continue to amass along the Ukrainian border, and U.S. intelligence officials believe that Moscow is prepping for a full-scale offensive against Ukraine as early as the next few weeks, according to The Washington Post.

Boris’s Wife Gives Birth to Girl Day After PM Announces Covid Passes, Amidst Lockdown Scandal

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie have announced the birth of a baby girl.

The couple said a healthy baby, the couple’s second child together, was born in a London hospital early Thursday.

“Both mother and daughter are doing very well,” the couple’s office said in a statement. “The couple would like to thank the brilliant NHS maternity team for all their care and support.”

The baby is a sister for Wilfred, who was born in April 2020, weeks after the prime minister was treated in intensive care for the coronavirus.

The couple moved into 10 Downing St. together when Boris Johnson became prime minister in 2019, becoming the first unmarried couple to openly live together at the British prime minister’s official London residence.

Boris Johnson, now 57, and Carrie, who is 33, married in May 2021 at London’s Roman Catholic Westminster Cathedral, in what is her first marriage and his third.

Feds Seize Record Amount of Meth at Southwest Border in November

Breitbart Texas reviewed a forthcoming report showing more than 42,000 pounds of methamphetamine were seized by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agencies in November. The amount eclipses any previous monthly total. As CBP is coping with record numbers of migrants illegally crossing the border, Mexican cartels are pushing meth primarily straight through southwest border ports of entry.

The report, provided to Breitbart Texas by a source within CBP, show seizures are 90 percent greater than October 2021. According to CBP, the street value of the narcotics is more than $76 million. Although a small portion of the meth was seized by Border Patrol, most was interdicted at land border ports of entry by customs officers.

In one November seizure, officers intercepted nearly a half a ton of meth concealed inside the walls of a trailer at the Calexico East Commercial Facility in California. Officers encountered the driver of a 2013 Kenworth tractor-trailer entering the cargo facility. CBP officers utilized the port’s imaging system to screen the tractor-trailer and observed anomalies within the front wall. A CBP K-9 team screened the conveyance and received a positive alert. Officers discovered wrapped packages of methamphetamine hidden inside the front wall of the trailer. A total of 30 packages of meth with an estimated street value of $1,559,700 were reported found.

According to a 2020 DEA National Drug Threat Assessment report, the involvement of Mexican cartels in methamphetamine production is thanks to their use of industrial scale laboratories. These labs rely on the importation of precursor chemicals primarily from China and India.

Chemical shipments are mislabeled at the origin, sent to legitimate companies, and then diverted by the cartel to clandestine labs. Most Mexican cartels are involved in meth trafficking, according to the report.

GOP Senate Candidate Dr. Oz Attacked the Pro-Life Movement, Attacked Heartbeat Bills

Dr. Oz is running in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania.

Mehmet Oz, cardiothoracic surgeon, author and television personality, checks all the right boxes on limited government, energy independence, capitalism, the Constitution and free markets for better health care, as he told Fox’s Sean Hannity last week.

What’s not to like?

Except for his position on abortion. Or positions, depending on what year it is.

Oz does not believe life begins at conception. At least, he didn’t in a 2019 interview. Then, he said the issue of personhood comes down to viability.

Now, his position — as Roe v. Wade may be overturned by the Supreme Court — is more like: whatever. Whatever the court says is good with me.

In 2019 Oz said: “I think that the rule that most Americans seem to support is if the child was viable outside the womb, then you don’t want to kill that child. If the child was not gonna be able to survive outside the the mom, then the mom runs the show.”

That’s the language he used on iHeart Radio’s Breakfast Club. It was in the context of discussion of Alabama’s anti-abortion heartbeat bill — “I’m really worried about it,” Oz said.

“I think the law was really only passed to generate a Supreme Court challenge … Fifty percent of women [initially] don’t know they’re pregnant when they’re pregnant, so you’re asking women to decide almost instantaneously if they’re pregnant or not,” Oz explained.

“This whole thing about heart beating – I mean, they’re electrical charges at six weeks, but the heart’s not beating … When we can hear the heart – like, when the heart’s really doing something — that’ll be different.

“That’s not six weeks, though, right? So if you can define life by a beating heart, then make it a beating heart, not little electrical changes in a cell that no one would hear, would think about.”

Obviously, six weeks after conception, the child cannot survive outside the womb, meaning, according to Oz, the child is not viable, meaning, according to his quoted statement, the child can be aborted or, as he in effect stated, one can “kill that child.”

Questioned by Breakfast Club host Angela Yee about Alabama banning what are claimed to be safe abortions, Oz responded, “As a doctor — just putting my doctor hat on — it’s a big time concern because I went to medical school in Philadelphia, and I saw women who’d had coat hanger events.
