Comey gives me the impression that his style of leadership is to avoid at all costs doing his job, allowing instead his underlings to take the blame for their making decisions he really made but in fact did so verbally with no documentation to prove it. He got where he did, not because he is ethical but because he is the master of avoidance. I think we see that avoidance in his airy tweets of rivers and such. Now, I think these new tweets are completely for self preservation.

Exactly. I doubt that President Trump fired Comey merely for "theatrical" reasons or for the 4D Chess Game. Trump fired Comey because Comey tried to alert Trump (in his smarmy way) about the dossier. It was a power play on Comey's part to put Trump under the thumb of Deep State.
