Do you see the 'noose' used to close the garage door?

Harris & Booker applying political pressure re: Chicago PD re: Smollett FF case?

What Bill did the Senate recently pass re: lynching?

Who were the authors of the Bill?

What FF event took place just prior to the passing of the Bill?

Did the FF event involve a 'noose'?

Did the FF event sway Senators in their decision to prevent FAKE NEWS attacks re: Smollett case?

Did FAKE NEWS contact many Senators prior to vote seeking out pro/nay in attempt to coerce using Smollett case as foundation for possible future smear?

What is the mathematical probability of these [2] events occurring within this same time period?

What is the relationship of Smollett & Booker/Harris?

Will Rahm Emanuel get involved?

Will the Chicago PD cave under pressure?

These people are sick!

2nd Brigade Combat Team

Soldiers, Families to reflect on Gander crash after 36 years

Ethan Steinquest Fort Campbell Courier 17 hrs ago

Second Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), will host the 36th anniversary Gander Memorial Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 12 at the Fort Campbell’s Task Force 3-502nd Memorial Park.

''The ceremony allows Soldiers and Families to reflect on the crash of Arrow Air Flight 1285 at Gander International Airport in Newfoundland, Canada, that claimed the lives of 248 Strike Soldiers and eight crew members Dec. 12, 1985. The incident remains one of the largest-scale air tragedies in military history.''

Soldiers involved in the crash were assigned or attached to 3rd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd BCT. They were returning from a six-month deployment to the Sinai Peninsula on a peacekeeping mission to monitor the demilitarized zone between Egypt and Israel.

“Strike Soldiers seek to uphold the legacy of duty and heroism established by our predecessors,” said Col. Ed Matthaidess III, commander, 2nd BCT. “Remembering the Task Force 3-502nd Soldiers lost in the Gander crash is a key part of that legacy. We also believe that ‘once a Strike Soldier, always a Strike Soldier,’ and want to ensure our veterans and surviving Family members from that period remain connected to the brigade. We are stronger for their support and continued involvement.”

Over the years, surviving Family members have traveled across the country for the memorial that includes a wreath laying ceremony and remarks from Strike leaders.

Attendees to the Fort Campbell ceremony must be fully vaccination against COVID-19 and may be required to show proof of vaccination.

Hopkinsville’s annual remembrance ceremony at 12:15 p.m. Dec. 12 at Gander Memorial Park, located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 41-A and Pennyrile Parkway.

Attendees at Hopkinsville’s ceremony can expect a similar experience to the installation’s memoria.

“It’s important to the Families because it gets us all together once a year to talk about our Soldiers,” said Phillip Eastman, a surviving Family member and an organizer for the Hopkinsville remembrance ceremony. “We’re so scattered across the country, and there’s a Facebook group the members communicate through, but this is really the only time we have the opportunity to all physically meet together. I think it helps the healing process to be able to talk to people who have the same feelings that you do.”
