And to address this question, at this point you don't. You troll and subvert, or at least I do. I don't even bother trying to wake them up, I try to crank their logic to 11 and their worldview falls very easily, but they refuse to look at the situation head on. It's a knee-jerk reaction to look away.
That's when I push hard the most and take note of them and have them be aware of how they're feeling. You gotta be there for them, it's literally a lifetime of conditioning that they have to break free.
