A few years ago the Los Alamos school museum in the old admin building had Gore Vidal's leather riding chaps on display in a glass case. They were "assless" as all riding chaps are. The chaps are not currently on display but the curator stated they were stored in a climate controlled warehouse and one day, if enough people asked, they could be returned to display.
