OG West Ky Anon here… Never thought I would be trying to figure out how to keep my family warm…no power. We are alive and very grateful and we did manage to find a small little motel 60 miles away, but we can't stay for days. Really hard to navigate … not sure what we are going to do for the next few nights. I guess build a big bon fire and huddle around it. Shit this sucks. Just askin for prayers. Kinda in shock from it all.
Everyone I know has no power … we are all in the same boat here. I had to drive 60 miles to find a room last night…all booked or no power. They have a few warming centers but no place to stay. Looked for propane heat yesterday…all gone.
Thank you. will soon be going back to house to check out what we can do. We do have a big fire pit so I am pretty sure we will be getting that going and clearing debris. Just wanted to get my daughter to a warm bed last night.

Without doxing myself…I am a single mother…one income. I have everything but the heater/generator. Like I said…I have firewood and a pit. and plenty of camping equipment…I live on the lake.
