This story gives a lot of insight on Chris Wallace’s temperament and how he handled the so-called debates. President Trump directed quite a bit of his debate right at Wallace at times and he would continue speaking and thrashing Biden even when Wallace had made numerous attempts to keep the debate moving. I recall Wallace kind of chuckling but still keeping his cool as he was getting ignored and, at times, lambasted by POTUS. He was used to his dad’s meltdowns and his daddy issues actually kept him from self destructing on the national stage.
