Democrat-Run Cities With Soros-Backed DAs Are Watching Crime Spiral Out Control.

New York City Council Member Antonio Reynoso (D) has introduced a bill to abolish the New York Police Department’s (NYPD) gang database as gang crime reaches a new high throughout the city.

By October 2021, more than 100 children aged under 18 were involved in street-gang related shootings. Almost all of the children killed in gang-related violence in New York City are minorities, predominantly black. A police source told the New York Post that, “the gangs are eating these kids alive.”

A gang member has also been arrested in relation to the stabbing-murder of a Columbia University student, injuring a tourist, and going on a knife-wielding rampage on the school’s university campus last week.

Reynoso’s move to disband the NYPD’s gang unit is similar to that of Los Angeles District Attorney (LADA) George Gascon. In December 2020, Gascon entered office and released his plans to significantly downsize and dissolve LA County’s hardcore gangs unit.

Both Gascon and Reynoso have received donations and support from members of the infamous globalist Soros family.

Steve Cooley, the former LADA, referred to Gascon as a “functional outlaw… basically, George Gascon is a George Soros puppet, and that is dangerous.”

When entering office, Gascon immediately prevented his prosecutors from seeking the death penalty or issuing a cash bail for non-violent criminals.

When Gascon’s plans coupled with two California Propositions (47 & 57) and Assembly Bill 109, the limited policing on gangs led to an immediate explosion in gang activity from prematurely-released violent gang-affiliated felons.

In 2019, Los Angeles was statistically one of the safest cities in the United States. Homicides dropped to 5 per 100,000 people, and violent crime was at 560 per 100,000.

Less than a year into his tenure as District Attorney, violent crime, attacks and robberies of citizens, animal cruelty, and heightened rates of human trafficking throughout Southern California have risen. Between 2019 and 2021, homicide rose 116 percent, aggravated assault increased 19.9 percent, vehicular theft rose 24 percent, with a 224 percent increase in individuals being shot.

By February 2021, gang-related homicides were up 266.7 percent and gang related shootings increased 133.3 percent. Attacks on police officers also rose 300 percent in the first 18 days of January 2021 when compared to the same time period in 2020.

Children offered vouchers and in-game currency for naked images

The AFP is warning that online child sex offenders are enticing young teenagers with cash and food vouchers to provide naked or sexually-suggestive images.

The AFP-led Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE) has received an increase in reports over the past few months of children self-producing child exploitation material (CAM) for financial incentives.

AFP Commander ACCCE and Human Exploitation Hilda Sirec said school holiday periods typically led to an increase in reports of self-produced CAM as children spent more time online unsupervised.

Online offenders have typically used emotionally-coercive tactics to exploit children into self-producing CAM. But investigators have seen a growth in cases involving young teenagers being offered incentives such as money, food deliveries and vouchers.

Children as young as 10 are also being targeted with incentives such as in-game currency on popular online games.

Commander Sirec said offenders were targeting children through social media and this new tactic left vulnerable children at particular risk.

"Once an image has been shared it can end up anywhere, including on some of the world's most depraved dark web child abuse forums as offenders often circulate images among themselves," Commander Sirec said.

"Disturbingly, we also know offender networks routinely trade information about particular users of social media who are susceptible to incentives or coercion, which will lead to repeated contact requests from other predators.

"Parents and carers should be aware of some tell-tale signs that their children could be victims of this new trend, such as unexplained food deliveries arriving or children having additional money in their accounts.

"The start of the school holidays is the perfect time to sit down and talk to them about their online activities, including the type of conversations they are having online and with who.

"It is important that parents approach these conversations with their child openly, in a non-judgemental way. Ensure your child is comfortable coming to you if an issue arises and make it clear that nothing is so bad that they can't tell you or another trusted adult about".

World Economy Entering Period of Oil Scarcity, Halliburton CEO Says

Jeff Miller warns that global oil supply could soon be surpassed by demand for the indefinite future

Halliburton CEO and president Jeff Miller made waves on Monday predicting that the world is due for a period of oil scarcity in comments at the World Petroleum Congress in Houston, Texas.

“I think that for the first time in a long time, we will see a buyer looking for a barrel of oil, as opposed to a barrel of oil looking for a buyer,” Miller said.

Since 2014, the oil industry has generally deemphasized building new infrastructure in the face of low prices. However, that trend may now catch up with the industry, which now finds demand for oil exceeding the available supply given current infrastructure.

Some analysts have speculated that it is increasingly likely that oil prices will soon climb to $100 per barrel, a price unseen in the past seven years and which has serious potential to disrupt the economy.

An additional factor contributing to predicted oil scarcity is a labor shortage in the fossil fuel industry surpassing that in the general economy.

The widespread perception that fossil fuels will be marginalized in the future of energy and transportation makes long-term careers in petroleum unattractive to young workers, with many oil workers seeking to switch to renewables or leave the energy industry outright.

A recent survey revealed that 43 percent of oil industry employees sought to transition to other sectors in the next five years, as reported by Reuters.

As baby boomer employees retire, the industry struggles to replace them with young workers, who see the oil industry as unfavorable to long-term careers because of concerns about climate change models, and pressure by politicians, environmentalists, and investors to transition to renewable energy sources.

This combination of infrastructural underinvestment and labor shortages is likely to result in an oil supply stretched thin to meet demand, resulting in higher prices and possible shortages.

With oil extraction occurring at a significant time lag from industry investment and the skill shortage in the labor industry showing no signs of abating, there are major reasons to believe that any scarcity in oil supplies could last long into the future.
