>Sinatra was called 'Ol Blue Eyes.'
On the day Sinatra died, I drank bourbon with an old man who's yard I was passing through to go fishing at a creek on his property. He invited me into his home and his basement was transformed into a speakeasy/bar. He played records of Sinatra and told stories of his past. I was young, maybe 14-15yrs old. I will never forget that day. It was one of his last and I'm glad I could be a part of it.
Less than 30yrs ago and that world, a world where a young man could simply accompany an old man for good atmosphere and not have to worry about ulterior motive, that world has been decimated. I hope I can see it resurrected.
