Philadelphia is the latest city to implement a vaccine passport system for indoor dining, bars, theaters and more.

Since Covid is so deadly, officials waited until January 3 – after Christmas and New Year’s Eve/Day – to roll out the new vax passport requirement.

According to Philly officials, the vax passport mandate applies to the following:

-Indoor restaurant spaces

-Cafes within larger spaces (like museums)

-Bars

-Sports venues that serve food or drink for onsite consumption (including the Wells Fargo Center)

-Movie theaters

-Bowling alleys

-Other entertainment venues that serve food or drink for onsite consumption

-Conventions (if food is being served)

-Catering halls

-Casinos where food and drink is allowed on the floor

-Food court seating areas should be cordoned off and have someone checking vaccine status on entry to the seating area

Philadelphia officials announced Monday that proof of a COVID-19 vaccine will soon be required to eat inside a restaurant or food establishment.

The rollout begins January 3, Philadelphia Health Commissioner Dr. Cheryl Bettigole said.

“Any place that sells food or drink to be consumed on-site will have to require that everyone who enters be fully vaccinated against COVID-19,” she said.

For the first two weeks, January 3 to January 17, establishments may choose to accept proof of the negative COVID test in lieu of proof of vaccination.

“That negative COVID test must have been for the last 24 hours,” Bettigole said. “Then, after January 17, negative COVID-19 tests will no longer be accepted and everyone must have completed their primary COVID vaccination series.”

A California mother recently shared in gritty detail the excruciating experience she went through as she stood firmly but lovingly against the transgender lifestyle that had come to grip her preteen daughter — until she prevailed.

"This isn’t a cautionary tale. It’s a warning," the mother wrote under pen name Charlie Jacobs in an eye-opening column published by the Daily Signal on Monday. "After a year and half of utter hell, my daughter is finally returning to her authentic self — a beautiful, artsy, kind, and loving daughter."

What's the background?

In the piece, Jacobs explained that her daughter's drift into a transgender lifestyle happened slowly at first, then all at once.

She grew up "ultrafeminine" as many girls do — fascinated with shiny heels and sparkly dresses and interested in "art and sewing" more than sports, Jacobs wrote. But when she was 12, everything began to change.

Jacobs said her daughter "immersed herself into anime art and cosplaying" while, as a mother, she unwittingly supported her creative endeavor, never thinking that the new interest would become a gateway to gender-bending and eroticism.

Around the same time, Jacobs explained, her daughter went through a progressive program at her public school, called Teen Talk, which seeks to provide “youth with accurate, non-judgmental information” on “sexuality, reproductive health, body image, substance use awareness, mental health, issues of diversity, and anti-violence issues."

Before too long, her preteen daughter had abandoned her identity as a straight girl and announced that she was transgender.

"She started making gross TikTok videos, her language became vulgar, and she redecorated her room to look like a cave," Jacobs said. "She self-pierced her nose with one of those bull rings. She broke every family rule. She was morphing into an emo-Goth-vampirelike creature. She was unrecognizable. Her personality descended into anger and rudeness."

Infatuated with her older "transitioned" peers, her daughter joined messaging groups where so-called friends discussed erotica, incest, and pedophilia. She even befriended an older girl whom she met at an anime convention, who would later molest her.

How did Jacobs respond?

But instead of bending to societal pressure and learning to accept her daughter's newfound identity, Jacobs jumped into action. She refused to allow her daughter to fall prey to the transgender cult's distorted "solution" to the clinical disorder known as gender dysphoria.

Gender dysphoria is described by the American Psychological Association as the feeling of "psychological distress that results from an incongruence between one’s sex assigned at birth and one’s gender identity." Proponents of transgenderism argue the answer to gender dysphoria is always to embrace one's feelings about their gender over science.

Jacobs disagreed.

Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant says anyone who received a second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine five months ago should now 'get vaccinated before Christmas'.

Anyone who is immunocompromised may need a booster as part of their primary course and should consult their GP, she said on Monday.

The Kirby Institute's epidemiologist Raina MacIntyre agrees, saying adults need to start thinking about three shots of a COVID-19 vaccination as being the number required to be fully vaccinated.

'Thinking you're fine with two doses, if Omicron is going to spread in Australia, is a false sense of security,' she told ABC radio.

Early data indicated that even after three doses antibody levels 'start to wane pretty quickly as well'.

'So it may well be that we need another fourth dose within less than a year,' she said.

Memphis convenience store employee indicted in killing of suspected thief, DA says

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A convenience store employee has been indicted on criminal charges in the shooting death of a shoplifter in May near the University of Memphis campus, said Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Amy Weirich.

Robert Lee Buie, 53, was indicted by a grand jury on counts of second-degree murder, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and employment of a firearm in the commission of a dangerous felony.

He is free on $40,000 bond.

The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on May 16, 2021, at Scootie’s One-Stop in the 3000 block of Walker Ave. where Buie worked as a stock clerk and security guard.

Investigators said Christopher Nettles, 36, entered the store, grabbed an armful of clothing merchandise, and ran for the exit. A store clerk quickly locked the exit and Buie, armed with a handgun, then confronted the shoplifter.

He ordered Nettles to get on the ground, but told investigators the suspect refused and instead moved towards him. Buie then shot Nettles once in the chest. He was taken to a hospital where he died about an hour later.

The case is being handled by Felony Asst. Will Cranford of the District Attorney’s Vertical Team 2 which prosecutes cases in General Sessions 9 and in Criminal Court Division 2.

San Francisco Drug Overdose Deaths Nearly Triple COVID

San Francisco continues to face a drug overdose epidemic. The number of overdose deaths nearly tripled that of COVID deaths in 2020.

The city’s data reveals there were a total of 713 overdose deaths, compared to 261 COVID-19 deaths in 2020.

“Bad is an understatement. I would say it’s horrific, it is negligent, it is an epidemic in and of itself, and it was not always this way,” Jenny Shao, a freelance multimedia video journalist and San Francisco native, told NTD Television.

She says drug overdoses have been an ongoing crisis for the city but have gotten much worse over the last five years.

“Before, you were able to walk through the streets … and you did not have to try and tiptoe over bodies not knowing whether they were dead or alive.” Shao said.

Shao continued, “And, also, you did not have to hopscotch through anything like drug paraphernalia … and you were not literally walking through a scene, of say, ‘The Night of the Living Dead,’” Shao said.

One drug addict’s mother has described it as a “Zombie Apocalypse.” Her 32-year-old son is addicted to fentanyl, which has left him homeless and physically “bent over” so that he “walks like an old man.”

People have also described the city as a Third-World country with human waste and needles on the street. City officials have made efforts to tackle the problem.

According to one report from the Department of Public Health, San Francisco distributes 4.45 million needles every year to drug users.

In July, San Francisco Mayor London Breed announced the city will invest $13.2 million to prevent drug overdoses. It includes opening centers to provide beds and treatment for the intoxicated and expanding access to buprenorphine, an opioid used to treat opioid-use disorder.

Recently, city officials are pushing for safe injection sites as part of their overdose prevention program, which could start as soon as next spring.

But according to Shao, not a single center offered alternatives to drugs. She said that’s like putting a Band-Aid on the problem and “fast-tracking a way to self-destruction.”

“The idea is sobriety, and that’s the golden key,” Shao said.

“You do not want to be dependent on these drugs. And from what I understand of these harm-reduction sites—as the city likes to call them—is that you are putting yourself at less risk, of say, overdose or harm. But, nevertheless, you are still locked in that state of constantly abusing yourself. And, so to speak, teetering on the border of death.”

Shao says the city needs to invest in more mental health programs.

Biden Joint Chiefs Nom Embraces ‘Gender Advisers’ for Troops

Afghanistan vet says 'gender advisers' nothing more than 'liberal pet projects'

President Joe Biden's nominee for the vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff told the Senate "gender advisers" for combat troops are critical to the United States' success, a position some veterans say is nothing more than a left-wing initiative that distracts from the military's core duties.

The revelation came during a Dec. 8 exchange with Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D., N.H.), who asked how Adm. Christopher Grady intends to implement "women, peace, and security" legislation within the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

"The role of a gender adviser is a way to attack a very significant issue, and if confirmed, I look forward to leveraging those advisers who can make me think better and smarter about the issues that you raise," Grady said. "So I look forward to, if confirmed, understanding that ecosystem and helping advance that cause going forward again."

The Women, Peace, and Security Act of 2017 required the Department of Defense to require training in "security initiatives that specifically addresses the importance of meaningful participation by women" and to develop "effective strategies and best practices for ensuring meaningful participation by women."

Grady's answer drew outrage from veterans such as Jason Church, who earned a Purple Heart when serving in Afghanistan. Church told the Washington Free Beacon that "gender advisers" are nothing more than "liberal pet projects" to score points with Democratic lawmakers.

"When someone nominated to be the vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff says something like this, it tells me top brass is aligned with radical political elements in the country," he said. "You have people's lives on the line. These positions aren't about how to communicate with Afghan women, we have a diplomatic corps for that."

Military gender advisers occupy a nebulous role within the armed services. A 2016 paper in the Military Law Review traces the position back to a 2000 United Nations resolution that "recogni[zed] the disproportionate impact of armed conflict on women" and called for more formal female-centric roles within militaries.

In the last decade, NATO and the U.S. military have made concerted efforts to expand the number of gender advisers in their ranks. The proliferation of gender advisers are part of a general cultural shift in the U.S. military. In May, a group of 30 Republican lawmakers sent a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to "take action to fight back against the creeping left-wing extremism in the U.S. military."

Democrats’ Massive Entitlement Plans Include Banning Christians From Government Childcare

Research shows programs that separate small children from their parents reduce children's learning and increase their aggression, risky behavior, and later likelihood of committing crimes.

Democrats’ current proposed $3.5 trillion welfare expansion would effectively ban faithful Christians from profiting from federal subsidies for separating infants and toddlers from their families.

The current text of Democrats’ massive “Build Back Better” entitlement bill contains provisions that would require religious child-care providers to disavow longstanding theology about sex in order to receive federal child-care funds under a massive new early childhood program.

“The Democrats went out of their way to make sure and prohibit religious care providers from receiving any of these funds, and unanimously rejected an amendment to allow all child-care providers to be eligible for grants, including religious providers,” said Rep. Jackie Walorski, R-Indiana, the ranking member on the House’s subcommittee on Worker and Family Support.

Democrats’ legislation would create a new federally controlled child-care entitlement available to the majority of families in the nation. The legislation authorizes up to $20 billion in the program’s first year, $30 billion in its second, $40 billion in its third, and an unlimited amount after that. The estimated cost of this program over the next ten years is $400 billion.

“Making faith-based providers of child-care and pre-kindergarten into recipients of federal financial assistance triggers federal compliance obligations and non-discrimination provisions,” note the leaders of several religious organizations in an opposition letter to Senate Democrats last week.

This means potentially forcing religious organizations to deny all theology that acknowledges basic truths about human biology and reproduction. Given the state of federal “nondiscrimination” law, this could include forcing religious organizations to allow males into female bathrooms, hire transgender babysitters, and teach small children that men can turn themselves into women and that theologically condemned sex acts are in fact morally good.

Just one-third of American children younger than five are placed in center-based care, according to federal statistics. Sixty-three percent of American kids ages five and younger are cared for by family, and 11 percent by a babysitter or nanny. Most American kids ages 0 to 5 who do have regular childcare are away from their parents only part-time.

Defending Pedophilia Is The Logical Conclusion Of Queer Theory

In the name of 'dismantling' sexual 'power structures,' queer theorists must make things that were once taboo (like sexualizing children) no longer taboo.

Allyn Walker, a former professor at Old Dominion University who identifies as non-binary, resigned last month following criticism stemming from Walker’s views on pedophilia. Walker argued that pedophiles should be destigmatized by identifying them as “minor-attracted persons” (“MAPs”) rather than the pejorative term “pedophile,” because attraction to children is a sexual orientation and not immoral.

The pretense is that pedophiles are more likely to seek treatment if their sexual proclivities are destigmatized. Instead of relying on empirical evidence to determine the reasons for those proclivities or strategies that will keep children safe, Walker relies on queer theoretical tools to argue that pedophiles are wrongly oppressed by society’s power structures as a group of the most “hated folk devils of our time.”

What Is Queer Theory?

Walker is a queer sociologist and criminologist who uses the lens of queer theory to explain human society and crime. Like other critical theories, queer theory seeks a collective critical consciousness that will identify and dismantle identity power structures and dynamics.

Queer theory seeks to unite oppressed groups that fall outside the privileged normative language categories of sex (male or female) and sexuality (straight, gay, bisexual) into a single, oppressed banner of queer. To do this, it relies on the postmodern knowledge principle, which rejects objective knowledge and favors “knowledges” that arise from the lived experiences of individuals of certain identity groups.

Queer Theory’s Application to Pedophilia

Walker uses theoretical tools to problematize the treatment of pedophilia as a sexual perversion to achieve her agenda. She uses the power of language to advocate for the new acronym “MAP” and blurs boundaries of sexuality. The focus is on the collective oppression of pedophiles.

Using a “deconstructionist” perspective, Walker argues that pedophilia is a “social construct.” She boldly concludes that sexual attraction to minors is not morally offensive and claims that the vilification of pedophilia is more about control of sexual minorities than it is about the health or safety of children.

Shockingly, this normalization of pedophilia is not unique to Walker. Another professor at ODU, Vanessa Panfil, has worked extensively with Walker on at least one scholarly article advocating for the destigmatization of pedophilia. Panfil appears to still be gainfully employed at ODU. In addition, Michel Foucault (whom Walker cites extensively) petitioned for the removal of sexual consent laws in France. Similarly, Gayle Rubin defended pedophilia in her 1984 essay “Thinking Sex.”

Air Force discharges 27 who defied COVID mandate

More than 1,000 Air Force personnel have refused the vaccine while more than 4,700 are seeking an exemption on religious grounds, AP reports.

The U.S. Air Force has discharged 27 service members who refused to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by Nov. 2 in compliance with the Department of Defense mandate.

Forty Air Force and Space Force recruits reportedly were forced to leave training in October after refusing to receive the vaccine. Officials believe this is the first case of fully enlisted members being discharged for disobeying the mandate, but this time, those removed were in their first enlistment term, according to The Associated Press (AP).

The 27 now-former Air Force members failed to seek any type of exemption – medical, administrative or religious – and were formally removed for failing to obey an order, Air Force spokeswoman Ann Stefanek said on Monday.

More than 1,000 Air Force personnel have refused the vaccine while more than 4,700 are seeking an exemption on religious grounds, AP reports.

Officials say that the Air Force appears to be in more advanced stages in the vaccine mandate process than other branches of the armed services.

Judicial Watch announced today that it received a 6-page incident report and bodycam footage from the Delray Beach, FL, Police Department, detailing the turnover of records related to the diary and/or other property of Ashley Biden, daughter of President Joe Biden.

According to the incident report, an attorney turned in “possibly stolen luggage” to the Delray Beach PD which contained “documents and envelopes in folders” with the name Ashley Biden. The Delray Beach PD included bodycam footage of an attorney handing over the items.

The Delray Beach PD also noted in the incident report that the FBI had said it would “take over the case.”

Judicial Watch obtained the documents and bodycam video in response to a November 16, 2021, Public Records Request for:

All records related to the alleged theft and/or disappearance of a diary and/or other property from Ashley Blazer Biden…circa 2020 reportedly from a Delray Beach residence. Such records shall include, but not be limited to, incident reports, investigative reports, recordings, photos, telephone logs and messages, email messages, and witness statements.

All records of communications, including emails and text messages, sent to and from Delray Beach Police Department officials regarding the alleged theft/disappearance of Ms. Biden’s diary and/or other property.

The incident report was filed on November 8, 2020. Project Veritas reportedly obtained Ashley Biden’s diary in October 2020, a week and a half before the 2020 presidential election.

The “possibly stolen luggage” was reported to the Delray Beach PD on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 11:21AM. It was reported as a “Suspicious Incident.” The report indicates “BWC/In Use/Body Worn Cam” and under the “Victims” section, in the field for number of victims, they list zero.

In a print-out for the case for “Additional Name List,” the Delray Beach PD lists Ashley Biden, but provides no additional information.

In the incident report, Delray Beach PD Officer Nicole Guerriero explained that she met with Adam Leo Bantner II “at the DBPD [Delray Beach Police Department] lobby in reference to property that he wanted to turn over to the DBPD.” She continued: “Adam, who is an attorney, advised that his client, who Adam refused to divulge the identity of, gave Adam some property (a duffle bag and a piece of luggage) that his client obtained from an unknown person. Adam’s client told Adam that the property is possibly stolen and he got it from an unknown person at a hotel which the client refused to share as well. It was also learned that the items belonged to a person named ‘Ashley Biden.’ A brief check of the property in the luggage revealed that there were some documents and envelopes in folders that were loosely spread in the bags which read the name Ashley Biden. The documents all had different addresses, but all had the same name of Ashley Biden. The bags were checked for safety and all the contents were left inside the bags and secured in DBPD. The FBI was contacted and advised that they would respond to the DBPD, collect the belongings and take over the case.”

In a Case Supplemental Report on November 8, 2020, “at approximately 4:24 p.m.,” Officer Guerriero notes: “I met with FBI Special Agent Healey and turned over a blue duffle bag and a black suitcase into his custody. Both contained miscellaneous clothing and personal property.”

The website Nationalfile.com reported a New York Times story about the investigation of the diary:

The article claims that the federal investigators are comprised of FBI agents and “federal prosecutors in Manhattan who work on public corruption matters” on behalf of the Southern District of New York. The investigation was seemingly opened by then-Attorney General Bill Barr, after a Biden family representative allegedly reported in October 2020 that the diary, along with “several” of Ashley Biden’s personal items had been stolen in a burglary.

This is contrary to the information provided to National File by a Project Veritas whistleblower, who explained that the diary was left at an address where Joe Biden’s daughter used to stay….

In a video posted to social media, Project Veritas’ James O’Keefe notes that Ashley Biden’s father’s FBI may be setting a dangerous precedent by, apparently, pursuing criminal charges against reporters for the crime of gathering information from sources.

The FBI raided the home of Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe on November 6, 2021, purportedly as part of a federal investigation into the “stolen” diary.

“The Biden Justice Department’s abuse of James O’Keefe and Project Veritas stinks to high heaven and these new documents raise new concerns that O’Keefe is being improperly targeted,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

WaPo Claims Israel Preemptively Struck Would-Be Syrian Sarin Plants in 2020, 2021 on Scant Evidence

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) has carried out two airstrikes targeting Syrian government facilities over the last two years, which it believed frustrated the potential restarting of that country’s sarin nerve agent production. However, their most important piece of evidence was by no means a smoking gun.

According to a Monday report in the Washington Post, IAF strikes on March 5, 2020, and June 8, 2021, hit sites in Damascus and Homs where the Israelis believed the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad allegedly intended to manufacture sarin at a later date.

The attacks killed seven, including Syrian Col. Ayham Ismail, posthumously promoted to brigadier general.

“Whether the attacks were fully successful in disrupting Syria’s plans is unclear. Israeli officials intended the strikes to be preemptive, knocking out the country’s production capabilities before actual weapons could be made, the two Western intelligence officials said. Any effort to bomb an existing stockpile of nerve agents risks unleashing plumes of lethal gases that can spread to nearby towns and villages,” the Post wrote.

The intelligence officials who spoke with the Washington, DC-based paper said the key piece of intelligence was the Syrian government buying “a large quantity” of tricalcium phosphate. While, as the paper notes, the chemical can be used to produce another chemical, phosphorus trichloride, which is used in the production of sarin, tricalcium phosphate has numerous other sundry uses as well, including as an additive to keep table salt from caking together and as a tissue replacement for repairing bony defects when a bone graft isn’t an option.

Phosphorus trichloride can also be combined with sulfuric acid to produce single superphosphate fertilizer, or with phosphoric acid to produce triple superphosphate fertilizer, both of which are potent tools for increasing the crop yields of farmers’ fields.

33 unicorns and $25b in funding: Israeli tech sector sets new records in 2021

Blockbuster funding year for local startups and companies is driven by massive investments in cybersecurity, fintech, and enterprise IT

Israel’s tech sector is wrapping up a record year in 2021, with startups raising an astonishing $25 billion in funding from January through November, and 33 companies entering the unicorn club of private firms valued at over $1 billion, according to a report published Monday by Start-Up Nation Central (SNC).

The value of capital investments represented a 136% increase in equity funding over 2020, itself a record year with over $10 billion capital raised. Funding in Israeli startups and companies was 71% more than the global average, and 78% more than in US companies, according to the report, which examined comparative data compiled by research firm Pitchbook.

These record-setting numbers are a “reflection of global trends that are not necessarily Israel-specific, like the rise in investments in technologies, partially as a result of COVID-19 and the lessons of how much digital innovation and tech are key components of a strong and robust industry… but the numbers in Israel are stronger than the average,” Start-Up Nation Central CEO Avi Hasson told The Times of Israel in an interview Monday.

Indeed, global venture funding has reached all-time highs in 2021, with roughly $500 billion invested in companies worldwide so far this year, compared to over $330 billion in all of 2020. Larger funding rounds of $100 million or more dominated the global tech industry, with all funding stages seeing significant growth, according to Crunchbase data.

This was true in Israel as well, where the number of mega-rounds reached 74, more than double last year’s number, according to the SNC report. These larger rounds amounted to $14.77 billion in funding so far in 2021, more than half the total amount for the year and up 310% from an accumulated $3.6 billion last year. In addition, the median round size rose from $6 million in 2020 to $14 million in 2021.
