Jesus truly was descended from Judah and he called them out for lying about being from Judah. Some of them lived in Judea, at some time, does not mean what they suggest.

Judean = lived in Kingdom of Judah once upon a time
Judah = descended from Judah specifically.
Judah != lived in Judea
Judah != any of the other 12 tribes
Judah != jew
Jew == edomites not descended from Jacob/Israel at all but from his brother Essau
