Why would a person have to give thru a 3rd party to bless someone else?

If every person chose one unfortunate, needy soul, and helped them out as best they could, it would be much more efficient and effective.

Anon's little rural county has had eight killins in this month of December. Some murder; some justified. We've never had 8 in the course of a year, let alone 8 in one month. Just getting nuts out there.

>How does one find small churches that are not 501c3

I don't know of any, anon, but in my area, I've seen teachers, counselors, etc posted on social media that they know this or that family who needs help, etc. People who are on the "frontlines" and whom I personally know. There are other avenues available if you don't trust churches.

I totally understand. Recently left a very tiny church in an area surrounded by poverty. Long story short, anon had inquired one time why I never saw the church giving to missions. The response was they give a donation once a year. It was a tiny church so I accepted that. A few wks later, the financial statement came out. They were sitting on 50k!! And people in the area begging for help to pay cancer bills, or buy food! Anon and fam left very quickly. SHAMEFUL!

If anons are looking to give, one option is to start searching social media for groups in your area carrying supplies to the tornado decimated area. Those poor folks need it.
