I know exactly what she means. I was exposing to hardcore pornography at around 13 or 14 years of age by an in-law. They didn’t do anything to me directly, but they would have me over then pop in hardcore videos. I thought it was “cool” at the time but, now that I’m much older, I realize that it was totally messed up. That exposure definitely had a huge negative impact on me, especially with relationships in my teens and 20’s and what my expectations of sexuality were versus reality. My wife and I have been married for almost 23 years and that exposure I had has had impacts on our physical relationship and our marriage as a whole. She’s the best though and she’s stuck with me through some tough times and plenty of nonsense from me. I made sure to teach our children, when the time was right, that pornography is a poison to the mind. It’s so true.
Here Grammar Kitty!
I pray so.
Exactly! It’s like Limbaugh always said, don’t let them get by with arguing from a flawed premise because the argument will always be in their favor. Get the premise right and let the facts (99.8% survival rate) flow.
And a “deadly pandemic”. That’s how we got here with lockdowns, job/economy losses, mask and vax mandates. If enough people would have put on their critical thinking caps instead of having the knee jerkoh shitreaction to begin with, we could have probably prevented all of this nonsense and the subsequent misery. You don’t lock down a country/world for a so-called virus pandemic when the virus isn’t even as bad as the seasonal flu. Of course TPTB and their media cohorts got by with using a flawed premise to spread fear and here we are.
And manipulating the numbers like crazy to convince people that hundreds of thousands died from COVID.
Now that many restaurants pay $15+/hr, $40/hr is the new $20/hr.
