I'm rather happy about the Judges ruling on Twitter. She just set a precedent that can now be challenged legally. Anyone can now sue Twitter for being blocked/banned. If the President doesn't have the right to block anyone, then no one does. Meaning Twitter must stops blocking/banning. Even for hate speech. I think this is a huge win!

>I suspect there may still be limited exceptions for inciting violence or violating court injunctions against contacting individuals or corruption/treason/terror-related considerations.

I would say to sue just on political beliefs. Leave the violence/porn/terror out of it.

This is just huge. Hopefully, they will shop for a liberal judge to challenge the ruling in a higher court. Wouldn't hurt to have a higher court rule the same.

This is just a huge win for 1A.

You're kidding, right? You think it's fair that liberals, who are full of hate and violence are allowed to spew forth their venom while conservatives are blocked for hate speech. Liberals get full 1A rights, conservatives don't. If a company wants to block speech, it should do so without political bias. Twitter uses a third party to determine their rules (algorithm) for banning. No transparency.

You're so wrong. The lawsuit was brought by those who were blocked by Potus! If Potus can't blocked anyone from his twitter account, then no one can. We don't need IBOR. I don't want any more govt regulations. I want a public domain to remain public by users requiring accountability from said domain.

So you are saying I have no constitutional rights to free speech on Twitter?

It's not a question of me blocking anyone. It's about Twitter blocking me from my opinion vs. Potus being forced to not be allowed to block others opinion.

You are confusing the right to not be banned by Twitter for political speech vs individual blocking.
