Don't you all get it? You don't WANT this ruling on POTUS v twitter blocks to be struck down.

 

This declares twitter (and by extension, all social media) to be a medium of political discourse - the town square, if you will. This is the basis by which the precedent will be set in the courts to halt companies from shadow banning or otherwise favoring specific narratives.

I said the 'basis' for which precedent 'will' be set.

 

It will still have to be challenged by POTUS and go to SCOTUS, whereby it will be upheld (POTUS 'loses') and it will 'then' be the precedent by which further rulings are based off of.
