One thing I have not seen addressed, an elephant in the room. Thinking the gun safe or not (everyone with one neuron knows you assume it's loaded), WHY would AB have had the weapon pointed directly at the woman, from 18 inches away, for ANY REASON. She was not an actor, and they were not "shooting" a scene, or he would not have been that close to her. No matter what, this guy was doing an inexcusable thing. And pretending afterward that he didn't know she was shot? And pretending that the weapon fired itself? He should already be under arrest and charged. And maybe others as well.
The '67 boundary is indefensible. While the proposal is attractive on the surface, it would be suicidal without observable guarantees that potential attacking forces also had to withdraw back, and by a lot, and stay back. This in addition to any political entity that emerged in the withdrawn-from area would remain demilitarized. The good/innocent people must be protected, as must the religious areas/artifacts of all parties.
And yet da boyz mindlessly slog forward along their planned route, because they have no choice. They have been beaten like a red headed stepchild. They know how the Romans felt at Cannae.
Maybe, maybe not. They can say any person is imprisoned. Uncertainty remains about whose side this guy is on.
