Meghan Walsh Discusses John Walsh, Adam Walsh and Child Protection with Nicholas Veniamin

Recently, in April of this year, he actually had the local sheriff, the DCF or Child Protective Services, and the courts take my 3 beautiful children from me in an ambush. There was no investigation, prior calls or records of complaints.

I actually started speaking up, as a mother of 3, about the abuse and control I experienced while growing upโ€ฆ

I went up for Thanksgiving and they actually assaulted me and tried to film it and to frame me to start this process.

I started looking at my brother's case.

I started asking questions when Epstein was arrested because had known many of the people.

I started looking into my father's presence in Haiti with Laura Silsbyโ€ฆ"

Rare "extreme" storm slams Plains, Midwest with damaging winds, severe storms

An expansive and intensifying storm is unleashing an array of hazardous weather to a broad swath of the lower 48 states on Wednesday, from 100 mph winds in Colorado to record warmth and the potential for tornadoes in Iowa.

Why it matters: The storm has already set all-time high temperatures for the month of December, as readings soar into the 70s all the way to the Iowa-Minnesota border. Its winds could knock out power to more than 100,000 people and complicate cleanup efforts from the devastating weekend tornadoes in Central states.

Threat level: A tornado watch is in effect for about 4 million people in portions of Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota and South Dakota until 8 pm Central Time.

The Storm Prediction Center says "a few tornadoes" are likely with "a couple of intense tornadoes possible." Damaging winds are expected to be widespread, with "isolated gusts to 90 mph" possible.

High winds are the main hazard for most people affected by this storm system, posing the greatest risk to the power grid as well as travel. The National Weather Service is warning that some areas, including parts of Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas, could see winds that clock in among the top 10 or even top 5 strongest gusts on record.

Winds have been extremely intense in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, as the air descends and accelerates, generating turbulent waves and eddies.

Extremely strong winds have tossed trucks off highways and initiated a large-scale dust storm across the Plains. Winds have gusted above 80 mph at multiple locations in Kansas and Colorado, with the damaging winds headed northeast toward Omaha and Des Moines, Iowa.
