The judge ruled based on content of the speech but the ruling should be based on the manner in which the speech is expressed. Freedom of speech has its limitations, of course, like permit requirements in certain situations. As long as the permits are not unfairly granted, the govt does not violate 1st Amendment.

 

In this case, I don't think govt infringement occurred. Bots and trolls are automated to receive instantly thousands of upvotes, thus drowning out Trump supporter comments. The blocking of users could be said to ensure Trump supporters' freedom of speech. Speaking to a wall does no good, and neither does commenting when the comment will automatically be #1000 in the list.

 

Also, this is still Trump's personal Twitter account, and he has a POTUS account. Banning trolls from Trump's personal without banning from his POTUS account seems reasonable.
