Ahmed Al-Rumaihi is accused in a court filing of leaving the United States to give himself a 'leg-up' in a bitter dispute against former business partner Ice Cube

Al-Rumaihi was also said to have been asked for cash for 'Trump family members'

Al-Rumaihi is being sued for $1.2bn by Ice Cube and businessman Jeff Kwatinetz

Ice Cube and Kwatinetz claim that he promised to invest in their BIG3 basketball league then reneged on his commitments

The filing states that it had been established in previous court papers that Al-Rumaihi had resided in Los Angeles but has recently fled the country

The businessman recently bought a three-bedroom $2.7million townhouse in Venice, California, where he and his girlfriend had planned to move long term

But prior to the Venice move Al-Rumaihi had rented an $18million, five-bedroom Beverly Hills home
