NZ Protesters in 90% vaccinated nation demonstrate against Covid-19 curbs

Several thousand people backed by a gang of motorcyclists have marched through New Zealand's capital Wellington to decry mandatory Coivd-19 jabs and lockdowns in the country, which has reached its 90% fully vaccinated milestone.

The rally on Thursday gathered around 3,000 protesters, according to estimates by local media. The crowd of mostly unmasked demonstrators marched from the central business district to the country's parliament, known as the Beehive, where they staged a rally.

The procession, which had been headed by dozens of motorcyclists, carried signs reading: ‘Freedom over fear’, ‘Lockdowns destroy lives’, and ‘Kiwis are not lab rats’, among others.

At least 50 officers were deployed to maintain order outside the parliament, which the local media described as a “strong police presence.”

Judge to take unpaid leave over family's comments

A judge in Louisiana is taking a leave of absence after a video was leaked of people using racial slurs inside her house. The video was reportedly filmed shortly after a foiled burglary attempt.

Lafayette City Court Judge Michelle Odinet is taking “interim leave without pay,” her lawyer, Dane Ciolino, told the media on Thursday.

“She is humiliated, embarrassed and sorry for what she’s done and the trouble she’s caused to the community,” Ciolino said.The judge has faced criticism and calls to step down since a video emerged of people casually using racist slurs at her home.

A burglar broke into two cars parked at Odinet’s driveway early Saturday morning, but was “quickly caught by the victim,” according to a police report, cited in the media. The suspect, a 59-year-old black man, was arrested and is currently being kept in Lafayette Parish jail on a $10,000 bond, police said.

In a video uploaded on social media, several people can be heard repeatedly saying “n***er” and laughing as they appear to watch security camera footage of the attempted burglary. It is not clear who used the slurs. A person heard in the video also appeared to have compared the suspect to a “roach.”

Odinet said at the time that her mental state was “fragile” due to the burglary. “I was a wreck and am still unable to sleep,” she said.

The judge claimed that she was given “a sedative” at the time the video was filmed. “I have zero recollection of the video and the disturbing language used during it,” Odinet said. “I am deeply sorry and ask for your forgiveness and understanding as my family and I deal with the emotional aftermath of this armed burglary.”

Michael Toussaint, the president of Lafayette’s NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) chapter, called for Odinet’s “immediate and uncompromising resignation.”

Biden judicial nominee Dale Ho said Senate, Electoral College are 'anti-democratic' institutions: 2018 video

A Biden judicial nominee is making headlines after a video from 2018 surfaced in which he makes the claim that the United States Senate and Electoral College are "anti-democratic."

Dale Ho, President Joe Biden's nominee for the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, has previously been accused by GOP senators of showing "open contempt for the Constitution." Video of a speech he gave at the 2018 National Civic Leadership Training Summit is likely to affirm that charge in the minds of Senate Republicans.

"We had obviously lots of practices that are anti-democratic, that entrench in some ways minority rule in this country, and I'm talking about things like, you know, the Senate, the Electoral College, and the maldistribution of political power that results from those institutions," said Ho, who is the director of the American Civil Liberties Union's voting rights project.

He also said that the United States should change its laws to make "voting easier" and that "long-standing barriers" such as "felon disenfranchisement" strip "the right to vote from people because of a criminal conviction."

Ho, who was nominated for a lifetime appointment to an unelected office, came under fire from Republicans during his confirmation hearing earlier this month for a series of controversial statements he made on social media during the Trump administration.

Republicans brought up several tweets he posted criticizing GOP lawmakers including Sens. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), Mike Lee (R-Utah), and Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), each of whom serve on the Judiciary Committee and are overseeing his nomination.

“I very much regret the tone that I’ve taken on social media from time to time, particularly if it’s given anyone the impression that I wouldn’t be impartial,” Ho told lawmakers at the hearing.

Lee made a point of bringing up a tweet in which Ho suggested Republicans would use a Supreme Court majority to stay in power if the "Electoral College, Senate malapportionment and extreme gerrymandering" were not enough.

Ho said he was referring to news reports in 2020 of states potentially appointing their own presidential electors to overturn the election, but Lee said his tweet showed "open contempt for the Constitution" and was disqualifying for a potential federal judge.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) also grilled Ho about writings in which Ho said a colleague once asked him if he works as a voting rights lawyer because he wants to help people or because "you hate conservatives." Ho said the point of that question was to highlight how "anger" can be a "tremendous source of power."

Shocking Study Out of Columbia University Suggests Deaths Post COVID Jab Could Be 400,000

A study, which has yet to be fully published conducted by Dr. Spiro P. Pantazatos, an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurobiology (Psychiatry) at Columbia University and Research Scientist at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, analyzes the publicly available data on vaccine adverse reactions and comes to a startling conclusion. The authors found that deaths of people dying from the vaccination could total in the hundreds of thousands.

Last week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released new data showing a total of 946,463 reports of adverse events following COVID vaccines were submitted between Dec. 14, 2020, and Dec. 3, 2021, to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

This most recent dats included a total of 19,886 reports of deaths and 150,946 reports of serious injuries, including deaths, during the same time period. While these numbers are certainly shocking and cause for concern and investigation, Dr. Pantazatos and his colleague, Herve Seligmann paint a far more bleak picture.

Before going any further, as not to set off the “fact checkers” it is important to point out that just because data is submitted to the CDC through VAERS, this does not in anyway mean that these reactions are related to the COVID-19 vaccine.

In fact, immediately after reporting these historically and utterly shocking numbers, the CDC reassures us that “a review of available clinical information, including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records has not established a causal link to COVID-19 vaccines.”

“One of the main limitations of VAERS data is that it cannot determine if the vaccine caused the reported adverse event,” reads the CDC’s website. “This limitation has caused confusion in the publicly available data from VAERS WONDER, specifically regarding the number of reported deaths. There have been instances where people have misinterpreted reports of deaths following vaccination as deaths caused by the vaccines; that is not accurate.”

Despite this disclaimer on the CDC’s website, however, the researchers in the study used other data outside of VAERS, along with VAERS data, pointing out that we need better numbers and that “accurate estimates of COVID vaccine-induced severe adverse event and death rates are critical for risk-benefit ratio analyses of vaccination and boosters against SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in different age groups.”

Researchers analyzed the publicly available data from Europe, Israel, and the US and they claim to have found a correlation within five weeks of vaccination and death. In the 6 weeks post-vaccination, researchers found a negative correlation with mortality. However, according to the study, “vaccination predicted all-cause mortality 0-5 weeks post-injection in almost all age groups and with an age-related temporal pattern consistent with the US vaccine rollout.”

Using the data from the US, researchers found vaccine-induced fatality rates (VFR) of 0.04% and age-stratified vaccine-induced fatality rates within 1 month post-vaccination — suggesting that hundreds of thousands of people have died post-vaccination.

After 28,000 Kids in L.A. Refuse Vaccine, School District Forced to Postpone Jab Mandate

The Los Angeles school board on Tuesday agreed not to require children to be vaccinated against COVID-19 until next fall, pushing back a Jan. 10 deadline as thousands of students remain unvaccinated.

The Los Angeles Unified School District vaccine mandate was postponed after board members raised concerns that students in California’s largest school district could be pushed into independent study, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The decision follows a proposal on Friday announced by Interim Los Angeles Superintendent Megan K. Reilly. She couched the move as an example of the vaccination program’s success, saying that nearly 87 percent of students aged 12 and older were in compliance with the policy. The extension would give others an opportunity to also become inoculated, she said.

“This is a major milestone, and there’s still more time to get vaccinated,” Reilly said on Friday.

The district will now continue to require weekly testing of all students through the month of January. After that it will only test students who don’t have proof of vaccination.

Some 28,000 students remain unvaccinated, according to the Los Angeles Times.

“I felt like we were ending up with a situation in which those who complied would be the most negatively affected,” school board member Jackie Goldberg said, the Los Angeles Times reported. “I think we have no choice.”

“I want to tell those of you who come and … think you pushed us back. No, you didn’t. The mandate remains,” she added.

Incoming Superintendent Alberto Carvalho called the move “the right decision” during a news conference on Tuesday.

“The conditions that the board is facing today, and the policy adjustments are not, in my opinion, a reversal of decisions made,” he said.

Carvalho described the move as “an evolution of the previous board position” that recognizes what is best for students in the district.

California in October became the first state to mandate statewide COVID-19 vaccinations for schoolchildren.

“What we are announcing here today, a statewide requirement for in-person instruction for all of our children to add to a well-established list that currently includes ten vaccinations and well-established rules and regulations that have been advanced by the legislator for decades. To add to that list, the vaccination for COVID-19, we intend to do that once the FDA has fully approved the vaccine which will give us time to work with districts,” Gov. Gavin Newsom said during a press briefing on Oct. 1.

The move drew criticism from some.

Mari Barke, chair of the Orange County Board of Education, said that it should be up to parents to decide what is best for children.

“I’m certainly not proud that California is the first state to mandate this. I think parents are the best to make these types of decisions for their children, so I’m very disappointed,” Barke told The Epoch Times.

“I believe strongly in parental rights and parents knowing what’s best for their children. This vaccine has had the least testing of any vaccine. It’s not a virus that is killing lots of children unless they have severe comorbidities, and I think it’s government overreach.”

Barzani bought the $18.3 million building in 2019, according to American Prospect magazine.

His family — which has ruled the area and much of its riches for decades — has also been outed as the buyer of some California mansions.

In 2019, Variety reported that two massive Beverly Hills mansions — boasting Corinthian columns, hand-carved architectural moldings and gold leaf — totaling $47 million were bought by Barzani-linked entities to create a compound.

“They are extremely wealthy, and [they] … don’t want you to know who they are and how they got their money,” Vanity Fair reported.

Back in New York, a stately maisonette at 1040 Fifth Ave., the classic and eternally chic Rosario Candela Building where Jackie Kennedy Onassis lived for 30 years, is about to hit the market for $3.65 million.

Most recently, the building has been home to actress Candice Bergen and her husband, developer Marshall Rose.

CDC: Omicron Variant Rates Highest In Heavily Vaxxed New York, New Jersey

According to CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, the Omicron variant of COVID-19 is spreading faster in New York and New Jersey compared to other states. Walensky said that the new variant is estimated to account for about 3% of infections that are being genetically sequenced nationwide, with the highest rates being recorded in those two states.

“In some areas of the country, the estimates of Omicron are even higher including in New York and New Jersey, where CDC projects that omicron could represent about 13% of all cases,” Walensky said at a COVID-19 press briefing.

Experts have suggested that the case rates are likely far underreported due to the easy transmissibility of the variant. The CDC director said that Omicron is more contagious than Delta, which currently accounts for a majority of the nation’s COVID-19 cases. Omicron will likely surpass delta in the near future as cases have been doubling on a daily basis.

Despite having a higher rate of transmissibility, mild symptoms have largely been reported or recorded. Researchers in Massachusetts recently found that the new variant shares genetic code with the virus responsible for the common cold. This, according to researchers, could explain why the virus is spreading more rapidly with extremely mild symptoms. The study is currently awaiting peer review.

As for Omicron case rates, New York and New Jersey lead the nation despite high vaccination rates in both states. According to the Mayo Clinic, 70.5% of New Yorkers have received at least two-doses of a COVID-19 vaccine while New Jersey lags slightly behind at 69.5%. This puts both states among the top 10 regarding state vaccination rates, trailing only a handful of New England states and West Virginia. The CDC has previously stated that only 20% of Omicron cases have been recorded in unvaccinated individuals.

Jeff Garlin is abruptly departing hit sitcom “The Goldbergs” following a series of misconduct allegations and a network investigation into the actor’s allegedly “abusive” behavior on set.

The bombshell exit comes several weeks after the comedian, 59, publicly revealed that he had not been fired from the long-running ABC sitcom.

According to sources close to the show, it was a mutual decision for Garlin not to return to the series, Deadline reported. Meanwhile, the comedian’s termination is effective immediately — and he will not complete his work on the remainder of the ninth season of “The Goldbergs.”

“Curb Your Enthusiasm” star Garlin, who played curmudgeonly patriarch Murray Christian Goldberg, admitted to Vanity Fair that he had been the subject of a human resources department probe over the last three years due to his on-set conduct.

“He is extremely verbally and emotionally abusive,” an anonymous “Goldbergs” employee told Deadline.

Ukraine’s Zelensky Torches Weak Biden, E.U. Policy: Sanctions After Invasion ‘Won’t Matter’

Frustrated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told reporters Wednesday that the European Union and Biden administration’s tactic of threatening Russia with sanctions in the event that Moscow invades Ukraine “won’t matter to anyone.”

Zelensky, in Brussels to shore up support for Kyiv in light of a growing Russian military presence on Ukraine’s eastern border, has repeatedly expressed dismay with the European Union and President Joe Biden over their supportive policies towards the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, a project that would essentially give Russia unimpeded access to the central European market. Russia, otherwise a weak economic power, leverages its significant energy market to influence Europe, and the Ukrainian government insists it will essentially have a stranglehold on Europe if Nord Stream 2 becomes a dominant form of transporting gas to Germany, the heart of the E.U.

“The EU’s domestic gas production is in rapid decline. To meet demand, the EU needs reliable, affordable and sustainable new gas supplies,” the official Nord Stream 2 website claims. “The Nord Stream 2 Pipeline will provide this by transporting gas from the world’s largest reserves in Russia to the EU internal market.”

Zelensky has asserted that, in addition to freezing Ukraine out of the European energy market, Nord Stream 2 is a “dangerous geopolitical weapon” and “a matter of war.” While not directly linking the pipeline to the ongoing war in eastern Ukraine’s Donbass region, the Ukrainian government has implied that any emboldening of Russia would worsen the situation there. Russia regards the conflict as a civil war between Kyiv and ethnic Russians; Kyiv has revealed significant evidence that Russia supports those “separatists” and the war is actually between Russia and Ukraine, not Ukraine and a domestic secessionist movement.

The Ukrainian president emphasized in remarks on Wednesday that the current prevailing policy towards Nord Stream 2 in the European Union and the United States would do nothing to maintain peace.

“As for the sanctions policy. Some leaders suggest a format of responding format (…) after a possible escalation on the part of Russia to introduce a strong sanctions policy,” the state outlet Ukrinform quoted Zelensky as saying. “Here, it seems to me that we were able to explain to our European colleagues that the sanctions policy following (such escalation – ed.) won’t matter to anyone.”

“Our state is interested in a strong sanctions policy that would precede a possible escalation, and then, I suggest, this escalation might not even occur,” Zelensky added.

In the same press conference, Zelensky suggested he would be open to meeting Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

“Ukraine is ready for any format of negotiations with the Russian Federation to resolve this process. We are talking about this openly, and not for the first time,” he told reporters. “The same will is needed on the part of the Russian Federation to stop the war.”

Zelensky rejected, however, the idea of “a summit for the sake of the summit.”

In 2019, Zelensky met with Putin in person under the watchful eye of President Emmanuel Macron of France and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Zelensky excoriated the meeting, asserting that it achieved “very little” and that Putin had made talks “very difficult” on purpose, essentially resulting in a waste of time for all. Two years later, Zelensky insisted he wanted “serious, powerful” countries to help lead negotiations with Russia, suggesting he was done talking to France and Germany.

Dutch PM Tells Public Not to Cuddle Grandkids as Christmas Is Cancelled in the Netherlands

Christmas has been cancelled in the Netherlands, with the Dutch prime minister telling the public they cannot cuddle their grandchildren.

Prime Minister Mark Rutte has told the Dutch public that there would be “no cuddling the grandkids” this Christmas after the government effectively cancelled Christmas in The Netherlands.

Lockdown restrictions in the country were extended by the government on Tuesday, and are now only set to expire after the holidays on January 14th.

According to De Telegraaf, the extended measures include the so-called “avondlockdown” or “evening lockdown”, which forces restaurants, cafés, and non-essential retail to close between the times of 5pm and 5am. Supermarkets meanwhile are only allowed to remain open until 8pm.

The government has also requested for schools to close a week early, with primary schools to be closed for the holidays from Monday, and that people work from home where possible.

“This is not the message we wanted to bring at Christmas,” the prime minister told the public. “At the same time, it can’t be a surprise.”

Regarding his demand that there be “no cuddling the grandkids beneath the Christmas tree” for grandparents, Rutte was conciliatory but unapologetic.

“I understand that this is a bitter message,” Politico reports the PM as saying. “But it is absolutely necessary to minimize contact between kids and the elderly.”

Leaked Reports: Few Border Patrol Agents on Patrol in Arizona

Yuma Sector staffing reports leaked to Townhall.com reveal most Border Patrol agents within the sector are performing duties related to processing, migrant transport, and providing humanitarian care versus performing enforcement patrols along the Mexican border.

In an exclusive report by Townhall.com’s Julio Rosas, Border Patrol daily assignment rosters were obtained and examined. The assignment rosters show most Border Patrol agents within the Yuma Sector are performing duties related to processing, migrant transport, and providing humanitarian care versus performing enforcement patrols along the border.

The documents in the report were obtained exclusively by Townhall reporter Julio Rosas who has spent a considerable amount of time in Yuma observing the ongoing border migrant surge.

On most days covered by the daily schedules, less than three of twenty Border Patrol agents on a single shift are on patrol in the harsh desert environment surrounding Yuma.

According to Townhall, the daily schedules examined for the Yuma Station span several weeks and provide an insight into how the increase in migrant apprehensions crippled the station’s ability to conduct routine enforcement patrols. When Border Patrol agents are assigned to patrol duties, they are required to cover more territory due to the staffing shortages caused by the massive migrant influx.

A source told Townhall “When the “all-hands-on-deck” approach to processing illegal immigrants started in early August, “we were at zero people patrolling. That lasted until that lady and her child died along the river.”

The source referred to the death of two migrants in the desert near Yuma in late August. In that incident, Claudia Marcela Pineda Sarmiento and her ten-year-old child perished due to dehydration and heat exhaustion. Pineda’s two-year-old child survived. A 12news report outlined the details of the tragedy.

Desert temperatures reached 113 degrees when Pineda Sarmiento got lost in the Cocopah Indian Reservation after crossing into the United States with her children. Pineda managed to call 911 hoping to be rescued shortly after the migrants crossed the border. An exhaustive search led authorities to Pineda’s body and the body of her 10-year-old daughter.

As reported by Breitbart Texas, the Border Patrol in Yuma is struggling to deal with thousands of migrants from a multitude of countries crossing through a gap in the existing border wall near the Morelos dam. The migrants, mostly family units and unaccompanied migrant children, have overwhelmed the agency’s resources leading to the staffing challenges resulting in reduced field patrols.

Yuma Mayor Douglas Nicholls issued an emergency proclamation last week in response to the unprecedented number of migrants entering the city. Nicholls asserts the influx is overwhelming federal authorities and creating a humanitarian crisis.

Yuma is not the only border sector experiencing similar staffing issues. The increased migrant traffic is plaguing the agency across the southwest border as the volume of migrants surrendering has inundated the Border Patrol’s detention facilities causing overcrowding in Border Patrol facilities.

Ranchers and residents are also reeling from the lack of law enforcement presence along the border — becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of federal response to the crisis.

Probe triggered over claims pharma firms pushed ‘unapproved’ drugs on trans kids

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is investigating two pharmaceutical companies for allegedly promoting their drugs as puberty blockers for children who identify as transgender.

“The manufacture, sale, prescription, and use of puberty blockers on young teens and minors is dangerous and reckless,” Paxton said in a statement announcing the investigation this week. “These drugs were approved for very different purposes and can have detrimental and even irreversible side effects. I will not allow pharmaceutical companies to take advantage of Texas children.”

Manufactured by Endo Pharmaceuticals, the drug Supprelin LA is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment Central Precocious Puberty, a medical condition in which a child starts going through puberty at an abnormally young age. The drug, delivered via an implant, arrests this process until the child is at an appropriate age.

Paxton’s investigation alleges that Endo Pharmaceuticals marketed and promoted Supprelin LA, as well as a prostate cancer drug called Vantas, to children suffering from gender dysphoria who wished to halt their sexual maturation.

According to the American Psychiatric Association, gender dysphoria is a condition in which a person’s gender identity differs from their biological sex, causing mental distress. It typically occurs among transgender people.

Paxton’s investigation is also probing AbbVie, another pharma firm, for allegedly marketing Lupron Depot to treat children with gender dysphoria. Lupron Depot is approved by the FDA for treating precocious puberty and advanced prostate cancer.

“The off-label use of these medications for gender dysphoria is completely different” to their authorized uses, endocrinologist Dr. Michael Laidlaw told Fox News on Wednesday. “Blocking normal puberty has numerous unhealthy side effects including loss of normal bone development, interference with normal brain and social development and, importantly, causes infertility and sexual dysfunction. Many of these effects will be irreversible.”

Endo Pharmaceuticals denies that it pushed its drugs on transgender teens. Referring to Supprelin LA and Vantas, an Endo spokeswoman told Fox News that the firm “has not promoted either of these medications outside of their indications.”

“We do not have any approved medications indicated for gender dysphoria and we do not promote medications for off-label uses,” the spokeswoman added.

AbbVie has not yet commented on the investigation.

Once upon a time, being a conspiracy theorist wasn’t automatically akin to being a crazy tin foil hatter.

That all changed swiftly after John F. Kennedy’s assassination, when polls showed nearly half the country was not buying the Warren Commission’s findings or its report solidifying the government’s official version of events; a Gallup poll reported in January 1967 that at least 46% of the country did not believe Oswald acted alone.

(Bear in mind this was a full decade before the House Select Committee on Assassinations investigated JFK’s murder and concluded that, “Scientific acoustical evidence establishes a high probability that two gunmen fired at President John F. Kennedy,” and that “President John F. Kennedy was probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy.”)

At the same time, Mark Lane had just released his book “Rush to Judgment: A Critique of the Warren Commission’s Inquiry into the Murders of President John F. Kennedy, Officer J. D. Tippit and Lee Harvey Oswald” and a three-judge panel had just ruled that District Attorney Jim Garrison had enough evidence to take Clay Shaw to trial on charges of conspiring to assassinate JFK.

The Central Intelligence Agency released the following memo in April 1967 categorized as “PSYCH” which essentially weaponized the use of the label “conspiracy theorist” and laid out a number of dirty tactics using “elite friendly contacts” including politicians and media figures to discredit and shut down any claims and ultimately demonize anyone who attempted to challenge the government’s official version of events.

New IRS Disclosures Confirm Flood of Private Money to Elections Offices from Zuckerberg Grantee

Newly released filings for the Center for Technology and Civic Life (CTCL) reveal how the infamous Chicago-based nonprofit funneled hundreds of millions of dollars to local elections offices in an effort to privatize the 2020 election and put Joe Biden in the White House.

The foundation’s CTCL grant was the second-largest it paid out in 2020; its Zuckerberg-backed $69.5 million grant to the Center for Election Innovation and Research (CEIR)—a CTCL ally which passed the funds on to secretaries of state—was the foundation’s third-largest that year.

We’ve also discovered a $25 million grant from the New Venture Fund to CTCL, linking the latter to a $1.7 billion “dark money” empire run by Arabella Advisors in Washington, DC. Wherever Arabella operates, you can be sure to find the most sophisticated activist campaigns on the Left.

Partisan is as partisan does

CTCL is a product of the professional Left founded by three veteran Democratic campaign operatives whose last gig was training left-wing activists for the New Organizing Institute, which the Washington Post once hailed as “the Democratic Party’s Hogwarts for digital wizardry.”

In late 2020, these operatives devised a strategy to unseat President Trump by boosting turnout for Democrats in Pennsylvania, Arizona, and other battleground states.

CTCL claims its COVID-19 “relief funds” were distributed on a nonpartisan basis and meant to make voting safer—never mind the $400 million Congress allocated to elections infrastructure via the CARES Act. But earlier this year, House Republicans investigating CTCL pointed out that less than 1 percent of its COVID-19 “relief funds” went to personal protective equipment (PPE).

EU, UK, US combined report 7 million COVID vaccine adverse events, over 42,000 registered deaths

There is a worldwide upward trend of vaccine deaths and injuries.

The latest official figures (October, 2021) point to approximately:

45,250 mRNA Covid-19 reported and registered deaths in the EU, UK and US (combined) and

7.418,980 million reported “adverse events”.

But only a small fraction of the victims or families of the deceased will go through the tedious process of reporting vaccine related deaths and adverse events to the national health authorities.

The National Football League (NFL) appears to have caved to pressure from the Chinese Communist Party, publishing on Wednesday a map that showed Taiwan belonging to China.

The map was published as part of the NFL’s announcement that “18 teams have been granted access to 26 International Home Marketing Areas (IHMA) across eight different countries.”

Among the countries listed is China, which includes Taiwan, according to the league’s map.

“NFL fandom begins with our clubs,” Christopher Halpin, NFL Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy & Growth Officer, said in a statement. “This important initiative enables NFL teams to develop meaningful, direct relationships with NFL fans abroad, driving fan growth and avidity globally. We were very pleased with the number, creativity and level of commitment of club proposals across the board in this initial application period and look forward to teams launching their efforts early next year.”

Joel Glazer, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Owner/Co-Chairman and NFL International Committee Chairman called the announcement “a significant milestone in our efforts to broaden the NFL’s global reach by building long-term relationships with these international markets that will play a large role in the continued growth and expansion of our sport for years to come.”

China claims Taiwan as part of its territory, but the island governs itself as a nation independent from Chinese rule. The NFL’s disregard for Taiwan’s independence sparked backlash on social media.

Russia Gives Security Proposals to US Amid Ukraine Tensions

Russia wants guarantees from the West that NATO won't expand on its border

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday that Moscow has presented the US with security proposals in a bid to ease tensions in the region surrounding Ukraine.

Russia passed the proposals to Assistant Secretary of State Karen Donfried, who met with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov in Moscow on Wednesday. It’s not yet clear exactly what Russia proposed, but Putin has said he wants guarantees that NATO won’t expand further eastward or send troops and missiles into Ukraine.

Putin also wants NATO to rescind its promise that Ukraine will eventually become a member of the military alliance. Last week, The Associated Press reported that US State Department officials told Ukraine that a NATO membership is unlikely to be approved within the next decade.

Donfried said she would be sharing Russia’s proposals with US allies. “Ryabkov asked to meet with me to share Moscow’s proposals on European security. I will take these ideas back to Washington and also share them with our allies and partners,” she said.

Russia is eager to work out the security guarantees, and Putin said he wants to “immediately launch negotiations” with the US and NATO. “The president expressed hope that the Americans and NATO members will respond positively to this,” Putin’s aide Yury Ushakov said, according to Interfax.

Putin held virtual talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping Wednesday, and the Russian leader said Xi supports the push for security guarantees. “The Chinese president stressed that he … fully supports our initiative to develop appropriate security guarantees for Russia,” Ushakov said.

Israeli defense official tells Axios Israel proposed a more active role for its forces in Soleimani assassination, but US insisted on executing the drone strike

Former United States president Donald Trump expected Israel to play a more active role in the assassination of Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani in January 2020, a former official told the Axios news site, in a report published Wednesday.

The source, who was a senior official in the Trump administration, said then-prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu was “willing to fight Iran to the last American soldier,” during the fallout of the Quds Force commander’s killing.

Trump, speaking with journalist Barak Ravid in July, said he wouldn’t get into the details, but that he “was very disappointed in Israel having to do with that event.”

“People will be hearing about that at the right time,” he added.

Trump spoke to Ravid for the reporter’s new Hebrew-language book, “Trump’s Peace,” about the normalization deals between Israel and Arab states, which were brokered with the help of the Trump administration.

Israel reportedly provided information to the US military as the operation was underway, including tracking Soleimani’s phone, and handing the Americans other key intelligence details.

Still, an Israeli defense official told Axios that Israel proposed a more active role for its forces in the assassination. The US instead insisted on executing the drone strike.

A former White House official told the news site that Trump felt as if Netanyahu had used him, and wasn’t convinced when the Israeli prime minister tried to make amends during the signing of the normalization deals at the White House in September 2020.

DC bar restores status of convicted ex-FBI lawyer who deceived the FISA court during Russia probe

Typically, a case like Kevin Clinesmith's would end in disbarment, but not in this case

Kevin Clinesmith, the former senior FBI lawyer who was placed on probation as a convicted felon for falsifying a surveillance document during the Trump-Russia investigation, has been returned to "good standing" as a member of the D.C. Bar Association.

In August of 2020, Clinesmith pleaded guilty to doctoring an email that was then used to justify a surveillance warrant that targeted former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. As a result, Clinesmith was sentenced in January to 12 months probation, though the D.C. bar did not seek his disbarment.

In June 2017, Clinesmith changed the wording in a CIA email to state that Page was "not a source" for the spy agency, when in fact Clinesmith and the FBI had been informed on multiple occasions that Page had been a CIA asset for years.

Had the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court understood as much, the information would have severely undermined the FBI's argument for electronically monitoring Page on suspicions of him acting as a Russian agent.

Five months after Clinesmith initially pleaded guilty, the D.C. bar temporarily suspended him pending a review and hearing. Typically, the bar automatically suspends the law license of any attorney who pleads guilty to a felony. In September, the decision was made to to let him off suspension with time served and return his status to "active member" in "good standing."

According to a Real Clear Investigation, Clinesmith, until last summer, volunteered at D.C.-based nonprofit Street Sense Media, an organization that "used a range of creative platforms to spotlight solutions to homelessness and empower people in need."

Clinesmith had been sentenced to 400 hours of community service volunteer work. The bar, however, did not check with his probation officer to ensure he had completed the requirement, according to the probe.

The RCI report also indicates that officials with the D.C. bar did not check in with the FBI's Inspection Division to attempt to figure out whether Clinesmith was involved in any other surveillance abuses, beyond the one used against Page.

While the D.C. Bar has consistently behaved questionably pertaining to Clinsemith's case, the Michigan Bar, of which he also is a member, suspended him automatically on the day he pleaded guilty. The state bar's attorney discipline board also suspended him for two years and fined him $1,037.

The board found that Clinesmith's actions were "contrary to justice, ethics, honesty or good morals; violated the standards or rules of professional conduct adopted by the Supreme Court; and violated a criminal law of the United States."

On 26 November, the British government officially banned Hamas “in its entirety” as an “Islamist terror group,” with both its members and “those who invite support” for the movement facing jail terms of up to 14 years.

The military wing of Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, has been proscribed by London since 2001. As such, it’s only reasonable to ask why this move – vehemently opposed by Palestinian factions within the illegally occupied Gaza Strip and clearly concerned with erasing the very real distinction between separate wings of the wider movement, in the process delegitimizing it as a whole – has been taken at this particular point in time, or even at all.

Emails obtained by The Cradle reveal that an intensive pressure campaign waged by Christians United for Israel (CUFI) and the Zionist Federation, two highly significant Israeli lobby groups, had forced Whitehall’s hand. Missives dispatched to their respective members – the latter group totaling over 50,000 – ecstatically hailed the Hamas prohibition with accompanying subject lines respectively proclaiming the words ‘VICTORY!’ and ‘Activism counts!’

In its accompanying message, the Federation noted that earlier in 2021, it had, in conjunction with “other pro-Israel organizations,” undertaken a “letter writing campaign calling on [London] to proscribe the political wing of Hamas … in its entirety. YOUR [emphasis in original] participation in that campaign has paid off.”

The email by CUFI, which branded anti-Zionism a “hateful ideology,” thanked the “thousands” of supporters who contacted their local parliamentarians, thereby “joining calls for Hamas to be banned in its entirety,” confirming the existence of a concerted effort across ostensibly separate Zionist initiatives, and adding that, “once again [emphasis added], it has been proven that speaking out is so important and effective.”

It’s unknown to what precisely this refers, although journalist Asa Winstanley has previously caught the organization inviting its backers to demand the British government prohibit Israel Apartheid Week, an annual series of actions and events intended to draw attention to the plight of the Palestinians, from university campuses across the country.

Higher education institutions that refused to adopt the definition of anti-Semitism by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance were to be particularly targeted, despite the definition’s own architect acknowledging it to be inadequate and ripe for abuse.

The email by CUFI concluded with the words: “One way we bless Israel is by standing up against the evil forces that are intent on its destruction … Britain has made a small step in demonstrating its support for Israel in its fight against terror. But we know that there is still much more the UK can do. With your help and support, CUFI can make an impact in the UK through even more targeted and bigger campaigns [emphasis added], ensuring that this nation remains faithful to Israel and the Jewish people.”

United Nations Grantee Uses U.S. Tax Dollars To Fund Illegal Immigration

Monthly cash for food, lodging, and 'movement' assistance amounts to material support for illegal immigration. It influences decisions to cross.

AUSTIN, Texas – During a recent trip to a Reynosa, Mexico migrant camp, I took photos of a United Nations-supported International Organization for Migration (IOM) operation to hand out cash debit cards to intending and repeat border crossers.

One of two workers at a plastic folding table inside the Reynosa camp, which was filled to capacity with at least 1,200 mostly U.S.-expelled Central Americans, said they were distributing the cards for IOM to help migrants waiting until they cross the Rio Grande at greater leisure to claim asylum, for which most will be declared ineligible years later. Many parents, for instance, got about $400 every 15 days, I was told, or $800 a month if they were still there to collect it, although the support level varied.

My photos of this posted to Twitter and related dispatch for the Center for Immigration Studies drew outrage among some Republican lawmakers. They saw the images as evidence that the U.S. taxpayer-funded IOM was providing material support to an ongoing mass migration harmful to America’s national interest.

A couple of weeks later, Texas Rep. Lance Gooden, R-Texas, and 11 other House Republican co-sponsors introduced the “No Tax Dollars for the United Nations Immigration Invasion Act” bill. It would prohibit the $3.8 billion in contributions currently proposed in the White House 2022 budget to the IOM and other UN-supported organizations. A Daily Caller story that broke news of the bill’s introduction quoted Gooden citing my Reynosa photos.

When I took the photos, I wasn’t exactly sure of exactly what I was seeing in Reynosa. But here’s what I have learned since: The money card is confirmed beyond doubt, but also “hard cash in envelopes” and “movement assistance”; and an online IOM “Emergency Manual” describes what I saw as part of a program it terms “Cash-Based Interventions,” or CBIs.

Milton Orkopoulos to stand trial on 29 child sexual abuse charges after negotiations fail

Former NSW Labor minister Milton Orkopouloswill stand trial on child sexual abuse charges after legal negotiations over the case failed.

Key points:

Milton Orkopoulos served as a NSW Labor minister between 2005 and 2006

He is accused of sexually abusing four boys, each of whom he allegedly drugged

Orkopoulus has also been accused of attempting to pervert the course of justice

Orkopoulos is yet to enter any formal pleas in relation to 29 charges relating to the alleged sexually and indecent assault of four boys aged between 11 and 14 in the 1990s.

An arraignment listing to enter those pleas has been postponed twice in recent months.

The decision that the case would go to trial came after the court was repeatedly told the indictment was being amended and there were ongoing negotiations.

The former state Member for Swansea stands accused of six counts of aggravated indecent assault with a child aged between 10 and 16 and five counts of aggravated sexual assault.

He further stands accused of six counts of sexual intercourse with a child and three of causing a child under 14 to participate in child prostitution.

Police facts tendered in court allege that Orkopoulos drugged all four boys and he stands accused of six offences of supplying a prohibited drug.

He is also accused of trying to pervert the course of justice by getting an alleged victim to sign a statutory declaration retracting an allegation of sexual abuse.

Police facts say all of the offences happened when Orkopoulos served as a Lake Macquarie councillor.

Police facts allege he raped his victims at Caves Beach, Swansea as well as Seals Rocks on the Mid North Coast.

Change of venue

For months the former politician's legal team hinted that a resolution could be reached from the negotiation process.

But today prosecutor Andrew Passlow, who mentioned the matter for the Crown, and an agent for Orkopoulos's lawyer, Omar Juweinat, said that had not come to pass.

"I am looking at instructions and that is to list it in the first list in Sydney for arraignment next year," Mr Passlow said.

Judge Roy Ellis then considered the change of venue application and adjourned the matter to the Sydney District Court on February 4, 2022.

He vacated the current trial date, due to start in August next year.

The court heard the trial will run for four to five weeks.

Orkopoulos served as Aboriginal Affairs minister in NSW under former premier Morris Iemma.

He has been remanded in custody.

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has gone into in isolation after being at an event with a positive COVID-19 case over the weekend.

Mr Andrews has taken a test and is now awaiting results while following current health advice.

He had started his Christmas holidays just five days ago.

According to current Victorian guidelines, social contacts of a positive COVID-19 case are required to isolate until they receive a negative test result.

It comes as Victoria records its highest daily COVID-19 caseload since October, with 1,622 new cases reported on Thursday.

More potential Omicron cases are being investigated in Melbourne, with about 30 people suspected of being infected by the COVID-19 strain around the state.

Mr Andrews went on extended medical leave for about four months earlier this year, after he slipped and fell on wet stairs at a Sorrento holiday home, breaking several ribs and fracturing his T7 vertebra.

According to the publication, Noth's two accusers - who do not know one another - approached THR separately and months apart with their allegations against the actor, who has vehemently denied the accusations.

Both of the women, who used the pseudonyms Zoe, now 40, and Lily, now 31, claim that Noth had sex with them from behind in front of a mirror, with the first attack allegedly taking place in 2004, while the second reportedly occurred in 2015, three years after Noth married his wife, Tara Wilson, with whom he has two children.

The two women both also allege that the attacks took place in one of Noth's homes - the first in his Los Angeles apartment and the second in his New York City property - after the actor invited them over.

The first, Zoe, said she visited the actor's home in West Hollywood to return a book that he had lent her, while the second stated that she went back to Noth's apartment in Greenwich Village after a date, when he invited her to sample 'his collection of whiskeys'.

Both women claim that the recent publicity surrounding the Sex and the City reboot - And Just Like That - 'stirred painful memories' of their encounters with Noth, who has featured heavily in the news in the past week as a result of the shock death of his character, Mr Big, in the first episode of the new series.

Two Hollywood 'actors' and a 'director' are arrested over the deaths of LA model Christy Giles and Mexican designer friend who were 'drugged against their will' then dumped outside hospitals

David Pearce, Brandt Osborn and Mike Ansbach were arrested Wednesday in connection with the deaths of Christy Giles and Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola

Giles, 24, a model, and Arzola, 26, an interior designer, were last seen alive at a warehouse party in East LA on November 13

Around 12 hours later, their bodies were dumped outside two different hospitals

Giles was pronounced dead shortly after she was found, and Arzola passed away on November 28 after lying in a coma for two weeks

Police say they believe both women were given drugs at Pearce's apartment

Pearce, 37, is charged with manslaughter and his bail has been set at $1million

Pearce's roommate Osborn, 42, and Ansbach, 47, are charged with accessory to manslaughter. Each are being held on $100,000 bail

Ansbachhas camera operating credits for several reality TV series and Osborn is an actor who has had minor roles on television, according to IMDb

Pearce is also believed to be an actor and a producer and has been pictured posing with stars at red carpet events over the years

Three men have been arrested over the deaths of a model and a designer in Los Angeles, DailyMail.com can reveal.

David Pearce, 37, Brandt Osborn 42, and Mike Ansbach, 47, were booked on suspicion of felony offenses in connection with the shocking deaths last month of model Christy Giles, 24, and interior designer Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, 26.

A cloud of suspicion has hung for weeks over the three men who were allegedly the last to see the women alive.

Phone location data showed Giles and Arzola went back to Pearce's apartment near Beverly Hills with the three men in the early hours of November 13 after an East LA warehouse party.

About 12 hours later the women's cold bodies were dumped at two hospitals by men in balaclavas driving a black Toyota Prius with no plates, caught on CCTV according to Giles's husband, Jan Cilliers.
