Not really… emotions cloud the mind. You need CLARITY to win. There's nothing moar powerful than a sound mind aligned with God. Hate blocks the connection with God and is therefore disempowering and gives room for mistakes/vulnerabilities due to clouded thinking. Some Angels do come with swords and a sound mind, though. I understand some evil cannot be fought with love.
