Trump Spills The Beans On Why He Didn’t Fire Fauci

Although the future is still a mystery when it comes to former President Donald Trump, one thing is for sure – he remains invested and integrated into American politics. Unlike most former Presidents, who decide to retire and somewhat remove themselves from the political scene, Trump has continued to take interviews, criticize the Biden administration, and leave both sides wondering if he will run again in 2024. While he isn’t answering that question just yet, he recently sat down with Fox News to discuss COVID-19 and the doctor who was supposedly steering the ship – Anthony Fauci.

In the video, which is featured below, Trump is asked about Dr. Facui and why he didn’t just fire him if they couldn’t agree on anything sort of proper steps going forward. Trump admitted that it did cross his mind, but he knew that he would have created a “firestorm” of backlash from the Democrats and liberals by firing Fauci.

Already being one of the more chastised Presidents in history, Trump decided to play nice with Fauci while doing the complete opposite of what the doctor was advising. From travel bans to mask, Trump gave several examples of how he worked alongside Fauci while keeping the safety of America at the forefront.
