If there's stuff they really want, they can just write specific bills.
These big bills are just to hide shit that would never pass on their own. Manchin needs to say that, and get a bill going to fund some worthy endeavor to prove his point.
If there were real reporters, anytime anyone bitched about the "children" not getting this or that, the reporter should ask them why they don't just sponsor a bill for it.
