Trump wasn’t a politician in 2016. He is now.
Trump shamelessly and relentlessly promotes the vaccine. It isn’t some 5d chess move, he really promotes it and the “why?” is easy: his ego is such that he can’t resist taking credit for the vaccine and muh record time and muh that said it couldn’t be done and muh warp speed. Even though the vaccine has proven to be ineffective at best and downright dangerous at worst, he can’t resist taking credit for it. It is what it is and people who keep “reading between the lines” and drawing a different meaning than what’s on the surface (and obvious and in your face) are just trying to justify why someone they love and support would do this.
Apples and oranges man. If you need chemo you’ve likely been given a very near term death sentence because of some cancerous growth. The vaccine is supposed to protect you from COVID, which has a 99.8% overall recovery rate, but it has been proven to be ineffective at best and there’s quite a bit of anecdotal data (and growing) that suggests it does more harm than good. In essence, chemo is a Hail Mary in a dire circumstance whereas the vaccine is quite unnecessary.
Trump initiated the lockdowns himself. That happened underhiswatch.
He initiated lockdowns and allowed mask mandates when he was POTUS. It’s easy to say no vax mandates when he’s not actually in charge, but do you honestly believe that he wouldn’t have imposed vax mandates had he remained POTUS? I would have believed that months ago but not now. He’s all about the vaccines and he’s fold like a cheap card table if TPTB and the media were pressuring him to mandate vaccines as POTUS.
The current American psyche is not such that one who sincerely cares about American lives would use reverse psychology or otherwise cryptic speech to warn them about something potentially very harmful. The American psyche needs forthright honesty, not a bunch of nonsense that needs to be decoded because Americans in general are not capable of decodes. Trump wasn’t a politician in 2016. He is now.
