VIRGINIA: Kiggans Voted With Dems On Trans School Bathrooms, But Now Campaigns On Parental Rights In Schools

Establishment Republican Jen Kiggans is campaigning for Congress on parental rights in education after voting with Democrats to cause Virginia’s school crisis in the first place, forcing districts to open girls’ restrooms up to men and adopt “trans-affirming” policies under the Virginia Values Act.

In an email sent to voters, Jen Kiggans, a State Senator running for the GOP’s 2nd District nomination Congress, paints her campaign in the light of Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin, who topped off a GOP sweep in a cycle largely focused on the left’s domination of public schools.

The issue came to a head in Loudoun County, where in addition to the use of Critical Race Theory, school officials were among the first to enact policies in line with Kiggans’ Virginia Values Act, opening girls’ restrooms up to men and legislating the use of “trans-affirming” pronouns, all the while leaving parents out of the decision-making process.

As a result of the policies that came from Kiggans’ Virginia Values Act, a female Loudoun County high school student was raped by a male peer who donned a skirt and claimed to be “gender fluid” before gaining access to the girls’ restroom, where the attack took place. District officials covered up the rape, arresting the girls’ father when he demanded answers, a precursor to Attorney General Merrick Garland’s cable to federal law enforcement labeling concerned parents as domestic terrorists.

Jen Kiggans cited Garland’s instructions to the feds in her email to voters, attempting to ride the coattails of parent activists and legislators who actually have a record of opposing left-wing social engineering at the expense of schoolchildren.

“Why are parents being investigated like DOMESTIC TERRORISTS?” Kiggans asks in the email. “Simply because they stood for the idea that our children must be taught HOW to think, not WHAT to think?”

“This was THE defining issue for many in this past gubernatorial race in Virginia,” the email goes on, featuring a bright yellow link to a WinRed webpage, where voters can “stand for parents rights” by donating their money to the GOP establishment’s campaign machine.

Kiggans goes on to try and tie her campaign to that of Glenn Youngkin and claims that “as a mom” she will battle for schoolchildren in Washington, but she fails to mention her vote in favor of the Virginia Values Act, throwing Virginia’s schools into chaos and leading directly to the rape of female high school students in a place where they should be the safest.

National File reached out to Senator Kiggans for comment on this story and on her vote to approve the Virginia Values Act but received no response, as has been the case in the past. National File did however receive a response from Kiggans’ GOP primary opponent, Jarome Bell, who has been highly critical of Kiggans’ voting record and refusal to back President Trump.

While Kiggans is endorsed by Rep. Elise Stefanik and says she will back Kevin McCarthy for Speaker in Congress, Bell is endorsed by General Michael Flynn and border hawk Rep. Paul Gosar and says he will support a Freedom Caucus candidate for Speaker when elected. The primary race in the 2nd District has garnered national attention as an America First vs. Establishment match-up and has serious implications for the balance of power on Capitol Hill.

Boston Bans Unvaccinated from Bars, Restaurants, Gyms, Theaters, Sports Arenas

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu announced the city’s new vaccine passport system on Monday, which will ban the unvaccinated from gyms, bars, theaters, and sports arenas.

“Vaccination is the most powerful tool we have to fight this pandemic,” said Wu when announcing her new policy.

City workers will also have to have received at least one dose of the vaccine by January 15 and two doses by February 15 and will not have the option for weekly testing. The vaccine passport system for patrons at various indoor businesses will have the same deadlines.

“Roughly 90% of the city’s 18,000 employees are in compliance with the current vaccine mandate,” reported the Boston Herald.

“In Boston, 70 percent of adults are vaccinated and 80 percent have gotten at least one dose, but Wu said her stricter policies are intended to boost vaccination and booster rates as cases once again surge and a new highly contagious variant of concern — omicron — drives the current spread,” the report continued.

Protesters present for Wu’s announcement shouted “USA!” and sang the National Anthem, to which she replied, “There is nothing more American than coming together to ensure that we are taking care of each other.”

Geoff Diehl, Republican candidate for governor in Massachusetts, denounced the passport system, calling them “clear violations of the civil rights of anyone who lives in, works in or travels to the city, and will make it even more difficult for Boston’s economy to recover from the pandemic.”

Boston First Responders United, which represents EMTs, firefighters, and police said they will fight the mandates in court. Likewise, the National Federation for Independent Businesses said in a statement that businesses are already struggling enough and should be forced to do the government’s job.

“It is unfortunate that, once again, private businesses are being placed in the unenviable position of having to enforce another government health directive,” said Christopher Carlozzi, State Director for NFIB in Massachusetts.

“Even though small business owners are currently struggling to fully staff their restaurants and venues, they will now be responsible for enforcing the city’s newest public health mandate, too,” he added.

Los Angeles and New York City require proof of vaccination to enter certain businesses.

Eight Bodies Found in Los Zetas Cartel Mass Grave in Mexican Border State

Eight bodies were discovered in a mass grave in a Mexican border state used by the Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas (CDN). The revelation comes as hundreds of travelers are reported missing after they drove to and from the Texas border.

The discovery took place last week in Salinas Victoria, Nuevo Leon. The location of the mass grave is 25 miles north of the Monterrey Metropolitan area and next to the highway leading to Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas.

According to information released by authorities in Nuevo Leon, the case first began when a local rancher collecting firewood found what appeared to be human remains. When authorities arrived, crime scene investigators found one body and human fragments. As time passed, the number climbed to eight bodies. It is unclear how many are in the mass grave or if there are more to be found in the vicinity.

The highway connecting Monterrey with Nuevo Laredo is infamous in Mexico due to hundreds of travelers being reported missing. Those travelers are believed to have been kidnapped by CDN-Los Zetas enforcers who protect the route. The gunmen set up makeshift roadblocks to stop travelers for interrogation, often with fatal consequences. The criminal organization is linked to a large portion of violence in Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon, and Coahuila.

German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach has called for making COVID vaccination mandatory immediately for the entire German population.

As reported by Der Spiegel, “Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach (SPD) fears that the number of infections will rise sharply due to the new Omicron virus variant. “I assume a massive fifth wave,” said Lauterbach when visiting a vaccination center in Hanover.

Lauterbach further declared “We have to assume that the wave of omicrons that we are facing, which in my opinion we cannot prevent, will be a massive challenge for our hospitals, for our intensive care units, but also for society as a whole.”

The health minister further claimed that Omicron cannot be “got under control” with a double vaccination alone.

“We mustn’t be lulled into a false sense of security,” he said, urging that a “massive booster campaign” is needed “boosting several million people a week”.

Lauterbach added that he intends to try “by all means” to make the vaccines compulsory.

The comments come a week after Angela Merkel’s successor in Germany declared that there would be “no red lines” in the battle against the current wave of COVID, which he declared to be fueled by unvaccinated citizens.

New Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that he supports vaccine mandates across Germany, noting that he intends to “vote for compulsory vaccination, because it is legally permissible and morally right.”

Scholz previously said he wants to introduce mandatory coronavirus vaccination for all Germans as early as February, according to sources close to him.

Radical San Francisco D.A. Chesa Boudin Opposes Mayor’s Crackdown on Crime

Radical San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin came out Monday against Mayor London Breed’s new policy to expand police funding and declare a “state of emergency” in the crime- and drug-ravaged Tenderloin district downtown.

Boudin, the son of a convicted Weather Underground militant, was elected in 2019 on a promise to pursue criminal justice reform, like his predecessor, George Gascón, the George Soros-backed prosecutor who is now D.A. in Los Angeles County.

(Gascón recently unveiled policies “allowing juveniles to potentially avoid prosecution for a host of violent crimes, including robbery, burglary, arson, sexual battery and assault without the use of a firearm,” the Los Angels Daily News reported.)

Last Tuesday, Mayor Breed announced her new anti-crime policy, after a string of mass looting events in the city’s high-end shopping district around Union Square, which finally caught the attention of Democratic politicians like Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

Breed had been among the first mayors nationwide to embrace the “defund the police” movement, proposing last year to cut $120 million from law enforcement to organizations in the black community.

But last week, she said: “It is time for the reign of criminals to end. It comes to an end when are more aggressive with law enforcement & less tolerant of all the bullsh*t that has destroyed our city.” She declared a “state of emergency” in the Tenderloin, where open-air drug abuse is rampant.

Many around the nation were surprised and delighted, given that twelve major Democrat-governed cities have hit new homicide records and violent crime is out of control in the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests and police “reforms.”

But Boudin joined a group of local officials Monday who declared their opposition to Breed’s new plan to tackle crime.

Boudin, Board of Supervisors President Shamann Walton and Public Defender Mano Raju said at a news conference Monday that the plan was flawed because it relied on failed policies to deal with problems.

Boudin said during the news conference that he is “outraged” at the human suffering, flagrant violations of laws and safety concerns faced by families in the Tenderloin. But he also said, “We can’t arrest and prosecute our way out of problems that are afflicting the Tenderloin.

“Arresting people who are addicted to drugs, jailing people who have mental health struggles, putting folks who are vending hot dogs or other food on the streets in cages will not solve these problems, and they are certainly not the only tools available,” he said.

“Right now in San Francisco it’s easier to get high than it is to get help. That has to change,” he said. “I will do everything in my power to make the Tenderloin safe for all of San Francisco.”

Belgium: Just Half of the Babies Born in 2020 Were To Belgian-Origin Mothers

According to data from the Belgian statistics agency Statbel, just half of the babies born in the country in 2020 were born to women of Belgian origin and Belgian nationality.

The statistical office stated that 23 per cent of the newborns in 2020 were born to a Belgian citizen mother born overseas and that another 25 per cent were born to those who had neither been born in Belgium nor had acquired Belgian nationality, leaving just 53 per cent of babies born to Belgian-origin women.

The fertility rate among Belgians is also reportedly significantly lower than foreign mothers, according to the Statbel figures, which place native Belgian women at a birthrate of 1.38 children per woman, while Belgian nationals of foreign origin stood at 1.54 children per woman, broadcaster RTBF reports.

The birthrate for foreign women born overseas and living in Belgium without Belgian nationality stands much higher at 2.05 children per woman, close to the replacement rate of 2.1 children per woman.

The statistics are partially explained by the fact that migrant women are more represented in the 25-35 age demographic in Belgium, compared to native Belgians. Foreign women account for 16.5 per cent of all women of childbearing age but accounted for around a quarter of all births in 2020.

Belgium’s demographics have seen rapid shifts in recent years, to the point that a report from January noted that around a third of the Belgian population now comes from foreign backgrounds.

Among the younger age brackets, such as those under 17, native Belgians make up just over half of the population, while native Belgians comprise 87.3 per cent of those aged over 65.

Last year, Stabel noted that prior to the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic in 2019, Belgium’s overall population growth had been driven almost entirely by immigration. Just eleven per cent of the population growth that year came from births.

Elsewhere in Europe, the pandemic year of 2020 has reduced the number of births to low levels, such as in Spain where the birthrate fell five per cent to just 1.19 children per woman, a rate not seen since the 1990s.

In Italy, the birthrate fell to an even lower rate with just 1.17 children born per woman with Italian citizenship, while the average birthrate among all residents was reported at just 1.24 children per woman.

Poll: Americans don’t want war with Russia over Ukraine

Wary of military adventurism, the survey also found that Americans want US leaders to focus on domestic issues.

As tensions mount in Eastern Europe amid questions about whether Russian President Vladimir Putin will order an invasion of Ukraine, a new poll has found that Americans don’t have much of an appetite to go to war to defend the former Soviet Republic, with a vast majority saying U.S. leaders should focus their attention on domestic issues.

According to a survey conducted by YouGov in conjunction with the Charles Koch Institute that was released on Friday, a plurality of Americans (48 percent) said they either strongly or somewhat oppose “going to war with Russia to protect Ukraine’s territorial integrity” should Russia invade. Just 27 percent favored such a move while 24 percent said they didn’t know.

Meanwhile, 73 percent agreed that the United States “should prioritize domestic issues over foreign policy issues,” and just 7 percent agreed that foreign policy should take precedence.

The poll also found little enthusiasm for increasing the U.S. military presence around the world, with 40 percent saying the United States should be less engaged, while 32 percent said it should remain about the same.

Power Underreported Investments by Nearly $1 Million Ahead of Senate Confirmation, Complaint Alleges

Watchdog group calls for ethics investigation into USAID chief

U.S. Agency for International Development administrator Samantha Power in her financial disclosure report significantly underreported the value of her investments, a discrepancy that could have prevented the Senate from accurately vetting her financial records, according to a formal complaint filed with the Office of Government Ethics.

Power lowballed the amount she held in a Cayman Islands-based investment fund by nearly $1 million. She said she held a stake in the fund valued between $50,000 and $100,000, according to a copy of her financial disclosure report filed in February ahead of her Senate confirmation and reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. But when she sold off the holding in June, as required by a federal ethics agreement, Power listed the sale as between $1,000,001 and $5,000,000—at least 10 times higher than the value four months before, according to the American Accountability Foundation watchdog group, which filed the ethics complaint.

The group is calling on the Office of Government Ethics to investigate the disparity and says Power may have run afoul of ethics laws.

"As the head of a government agency, Administrator Power is expected to be above reproach and to comport to the highest level of ethical behavior," said Matthew Buckham, the leader of the American Accountability Foundation, in a Monday letter to Office of Government Ethics director Emory Rounds. "Due to the large discrepancy between Ms. Power's initial reporting prior to her confirmation and the report filed at the sale of her assets, we urge the Office of Government Ethics to investigate the matter for any potential misconduct that may have occurred."

Buckham said the difference could be due to Power's assets' growing in value but noted that the increase was significant enough to warrant investigation.

"Ms. Power needs to answer whether she had prior knowledge of the value of her asset with The Social+Capital Partnership GP III, L.P. and why she reported it significantly lower than what she obtained from the sale," said Buckham.

USAID did not respond to a request for comment.

As a federal nominee, Power was required to disclose the "identity and category of value" of any property or investments held in the previous calendar year that has a "fair market value which exceeds $1,000," according to federal law. Individuals who intentionally falsify or omit information on the financial disclosure form can be subject to a fine of up to $50,000 and prison time of up to one year.

Power, a former Obama administration official, has served as the administrator of USAID since May, where she oversees the distribution and monitoring of over half of the foreign aid budget.

The Social+Capital Partnership GP III, L.P. is a Cayman Islands-based private equity fund connected to Social Capital, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm founded by tech investor Chamath Palihapitiya. The firm has investments in startup companies around the world and close connections with Democratic Party insiders. Bill and Hillary Clinton son-in-law Marc Mezvinsky was a vice chairman at Social Capital.

In addition to Power's stake in the fund, she also served as an adviser to Social Capital until she stepped down to become USAID administrator. Secretary of State Antony Blinken held a six-figure investment and advisory role with the company until earlier this year.

Power was at the center of several controversies during the Obama administration. As ambassador to the United Nations toward the end of the Obama administration, she reportedly "unmasked" the names of hundreds of Americans identified in intelligence reports—a practice that some congressional Republicans say was abused to target Trump campaign officials and Democrats' other adversaries.

During Power's confirmation, she was grilled by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) over allegedly trying to get a terror-designated charity group, the Islamic Relief Agency, removed from the U.S. sanctions list.

Stockholders banking on the Covid injections to line their pockets have very merry news this holiday season as they rake in the returns from a raging bull market on Moderna and Pfizer shares.

Big pharma executives and shareholders saw their wealth skyrocket in the week after Omicron was “discovered,” with eight top Pfizer and Moderna shareholders making a combined $10.3bn, City A.M. reported on 6 December, less than two weeks after Omicron was announced.

The two drug companies manufacture mRNA Covid injections and with Omicron sweeping the world, investors are sweeping the returns into their bank accounts. The eight top Pfizer and Moderna shareholders alone made a combined $10.3 billion.

Pfizer CEO, Albert Bourla, personally made $339,236 on the value of shares he holds in the week after the announcement of Omicron.

Moderna’s CEO, Stephane Bancel, raked in $3.19 million all by himself by selling off 10,000 shares for $319 each on 26 November, the day after Omicron was announced. And just under two weeks later, by 5 December, became more than $1,7 billion richer with the value of his remaining shares rising.

Blackrock investment company made $2.5 billion just in the one week following the Omicron announcement. And Vanguard made a whopping $1.01 billion from its shares in Moderna and $1.5 billion from Pfizer.

All this came within days of the UK government cutting a deal on 2 December with Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna for 114 million doses of injections (54m of Pfizer and 60m of Moderna) securing doses for two years.

At the same time, Pfizer’s CEO, Albert Bourla, predicted that booster injections are here to stay. Pfizer and BioNTech released results from an initial lab study on 8 December. In an interview with CNBC Bourla said the preliminary studies were based on a synthetic, lab-created copy of Omicron and real world results were expected in the following two weeks. While results may show that a third injection could fight the variant, Bourla said, “I think we will need a fourth dose.”

On 10 December, Channel 4’s Dispatches aired their investigation, ‘Vaccine Wars: Truth About Pfizer’, which accused Pfizer of funding educational presentations in Canada that said its UK rival AstraZeneca was ineffective and even dangerous for some people in the population. Dispatches investigation also revealed an analysis by a biological engineering expert that the manufacturing costs of Pfizer’s injection is 76p per dose but is being sold to the UK government for £22.

Pfizer was “disappointed to hear” of the documentary and accused Channel 4 of “unbalanced reporting” and that the 76p per dose cost was “grossly inaccurate.” Pfizer’s response to Channel 4 proves one thing at least – the “vaccine wars” are real.

There are a lot of misconceptions and myths about Pfizer. The first is that it created a Covid injection. It did not. They marketed it. The only thing Pfizer has created is a money-making machine, Dr Vernon Colman said, Pfizer is talking of $80 billion in forecast revenues.

Ukraine Crisis: When Facts Don’t Matter And It’s All About The Narrative

Unfortunately when it comes to the western narrative on Russia and its role shaping the geopolitics of our European continent throughout the 20th century up to the present day, it often seems that facts don’t matter. We hear little about the Red army’s tremendous part in defeating Nazism and, for example, liberating the Polish concentration camps decades ago. The Soviets more often than not are equated with fascists as the post-Soviet bloc, particularly Ukraine and the Baltic states, play up the Russian threat and bend historical facts in order to secure lucrative western funding and defence contracts.

Since the fall of the USSR, which was once referred to by President Putin as the greatest tragedy of the 20th century, the states on the periphery of the bloc, like lost children, have sought to redefine themselves as their adopted Mother Russia was suddenly no more. Some, like the Baltic states, have rejected Russia outright as they pursued a European identity. Other nations, which are much closer to Russia ethnically and culturally, as fellow Slavic peoples, have sought to maintain ties with Russia, as they had for centuries before. Two such countries are Belarus and, until recently, Ukraine.

The Ukraine crisis therefore, with the rejection of Russian culture and language which came with it, is of course an absolute tragedy for the peoples of Russia and Ukraine. For there could not be two more close nations in terms of identity. As Putin has also said before, the two are practically ‘one people’. Ancient Russia, or ‘Rus’ began in Kiev after all. The border therefore between the two countries has always been practically irrelevant. What is incredibly sad is that it seems many Ukrainians are not aware of the extent to which their anti-Russian sentiment has been a strategic goal of the West, and is part of a conflict entirely manufactured by the US and its partners.

The 2014 Maidan revolution was a project of western interference in Ukraine that began many years earlier, as the West began supporting Ukrainian integration into Europe. The US and Britain are no strangers to such meddling; they supported Ukrainian fascist Stepan Bandera as far back as the 1940s in a bid to destabilise the Soviet bloc. Their security services are experts in this kind of malevolent activity. And they know just how to use the media in order to manipulate populations and persuade them of their political viewpoints.

It’s happening right now as British and American governments fund media across the post-Soviet space in order to spread anti-Russian sentiment. This is why when it comes to the last escalation in the Ukraine crisis, the stage is already set. History has been written before it is made as headlines across western media for weeks now have declared that a Russian invasion of Ukraine is ‘imminent’.

As usual in this situation, the facts seem completely irrelevant. Western governments and their liberal media have already played the role of judge, jury and executioner. Never mind the fact that Ukraine has been building up its military in the East, aided by Britain and the US, since March earlier this year. Never mind the fact that Kiev consistently violates the Minsk peace agreements with the use of drones against the rebels in the East. Russia is the aggressor, Russia is the invader, says the media. This means that if Russian forces do enter Ukrainian territory to protect ethnic Russians in the conflict, as they did in the South Ossetia conflict in 2008, Russia will still be portrayed as the bad guy, and Ukraine the victim.

New Videos Capture Pennsylvania Officials Hiding Evidence Of Alleged Election Fraud

New whistleblower videos capture Delaware County, Pennsylvania officials plotting to recreate missing election data from the November 2020 contest, with one official later bragging that the local Democrat district attorney “owes him.” These recordings represent the latest evidence of the alleged fraud officials in the Pennsylvania county undertook to hide widespread violations of the state’s election laws, according to a source familiar with the recordings.

Whistleblower Regina Miller, who worked as a contract employee for Delaware County, secretly recorded the behind-the-scenes videos of election officials after witnessing concerning conduct, according to sources with knowledge of a fraud lawsuit filed last month against county election officials, based in part on the recordings. That lawsuit alleged county election officials destroyed election data in response to a May 21, 2021 Right to Know Request filed with Delaware County that requested the final certified return sheets from the Nov. 3, 2020 general election for all Delaware County precincts, as well as the tapes from the voting machines.

While earlier videos captured Delaware County officials destroying election material or blocking out “derogatory” information in the copies made in response to the Right to Know Request, the latest video captures two election officials discussing putting in “blank” V-drives, which are the thumb drives that record the results from election machines, to recreate the election results reported by the county.

In one video, James Savage, who served as the chief custodian and voting machine warehouse supervisor for the Delaware County Voting Machine Department during the November 2020 election, is seen talking with another election official who is blocked from the camera’s view.

The duo are discussing the Right to Know Request, according to a source with knowledge on the matter, with Savage inquiring on “recreating data.” The individual off-camera chimes in with his suggested approach that would entail recreating results for “these jokers,” and “then create another set for the next set of jokers” — an apparent reference to the individuals who filed the Right-to-Know request — “but we cut it up and then we create a permanent record,” he explains.

“Here you go, here you go,” the election official is heard saying, mimicking what they could say as they provide the “jokers” the supposedly official election-data documentation. The unseen individual then continues, “We scan those cut, copied sheets in.”

“The first part has a lot of work, but it might save us work in the long run, if it’s gonna be a drip, drip, drip,” Savage is seen saying. The two then talk more about the process with Savage asking about whether they are talking about going to every machine and putting in a clean V-drive. The off-camera election worker appears to concur with that approach.

Mount Gambier MP Troy Bell charged with 52 offences appearing to relate to Country Members Accommodation Allowance claims

South Australian independent state MP Troy Bell has been charged with more than 50 offences that appear to relate to his use of the Country Members Accommodation Allowance.

Mr Bell confirmed to the ABC on Tuesday night that he was facing 52 charges and that he would "defend these allegations to the fullest extent".

The Member for Mount Gambier said he had cooperated with investigations into the Country Members Accommodation Allowance "and have done so knowing that I have always acted honestly".

The Country Members Accommodation Allowance is a nightly payment made to regional MPs who need to be in the city overnight for work and whose usual place of residence is more than 75 kilometres from Adelaide.

More than $100,000 in incorrect or questionable claims for Country Members Accommodation Allowance has been identified since the ABC began investigating the use of the allowance last year.

In August, the ABC revealed Mr Bell had entered an arrangement to repay $42,728 in Country Members Accommodation Allowance claimed from the SA Parliament since 2014.

At the time, Mr Bell did not explain why he was making the repayments, other than to say it was being done "out of an abundance of caution”.

First-term Liberal backbencher Fraser Ellis repaid $42,130 before an investigation by the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption resulted in criminal charges against him.

'Similar allegations' to other MPs

In response to questions from the ABC about what the charges related to, Mr Bell said he was aware that "similar allegations have been levelled against a number of other country MPs, some of whom have since admitted to incorrectly claiming travel allowances".

"It is not immediately clear to me why a decision has been made to criminally charge me, and not others, or why the authorities have waited until now to serve these charges upon me," he said.

"My community remains in the grip of a major public health crisis and they are only three months away from an election.

"I remain strongly committed to my community. They are my sole priority at this time and my focus remains on their needs and how I can continue to support them."

"I have every intention of standing at the 2022 election and I want to assure my community they can have absolute trust in my words and actions as their state representative," he added.

The South Australian state election is due to be held in March next year.
