Thursday evening 12/16 at approx 7:55pm, local NBC affiliate channel 11 in Pittsburgh (WPXI) interrupted their over-the-air broadcast of Wheel of Fortune with a "breaking news special report" of purportedly "live coverage" of a mass shooting that was taking place in Pittsburgh, with multiple confirmed casualties. The "live" coverage showed police and first responders reacting to a "active shooter" situation. Anon checked the OTA broadcast of another NBC local affiliate in the area (WTOV-9 from Steubenville OH) and only normal programming was on. This "special report" on WPXI-11 lasted approx 5 minutes. Later that evening, anon went to the website of WPXI to see a full follow up, and the story had vanished. There was no mention of it to be found anywhere. Anon checked the websites of the local affiliates of ABC and CBS, and there was likewise no mention of a mass shooting in the city. But anon and wifeanon both witnessed the OTA "breaking news special report" broadcast in real time. It happened. The only explanations anon could come up with are either a scheduled FF was cancelled at the last minute and someone didn't get the memo, OR, an actual shooting event occurred and it is being covered up for some reason. Either way, this reeks ofFUCKERY AFOOT. Calling all autists to see if they can uncover any relevant info to account for the glitch in the matrix.
