Beware the grifters who prey on people’s emotions to promote false narratives designed to separate unwitting victims from their money and in some cases their lives with a convenient straw man. Perhaps the left should get its story straight before attacking people who won’t sit down and shut up. One such example is the people that respond to our border crisis who are not government agents. While the propaganda machine, made of special interest hitmen and the formerly “free press”, claim to be watchdogs for the community, there is a disconnect between claims and reality. Take for example the Bill of Rights, specifically the source of power and authority to exercise it enshrined in the Tenth Amendment, which frames the federal form of government we have.

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.”

We must regularly remind both elected officials and bureaucrats that power originates from the People, not the government. Those powers granted the Federal government are limited and discrete, essentially enumerated by writings in the Constitution. Moreover, the states retain all powers that are not granted to the Federal governments, such powers are unenumerated, they are unwritten, broad and virtually limitless; and the People retain authority over their state governments. That is a free society.

Women Fighting for America has recently come under attack by the extreme radical left for standing in the gap where the Federal government has abandoned its responsibility to provide for the safety and welfare of children caught in the nightmare of a perverse border policy that neither the Executive Branch nor the Legislative branch has the political will to address.

Mayor Lightfoot Announces Chicago will Require Proof of Vaccination to Enter Bars, Restaurants, Gyms, Theaters and More

Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Tuesday announced Chicago will require proof of vaccination in order to enter bars, restaurants, gyms, theaters and more.

Beginning January 3, people over the age of 5 will be required to show proof of vaccination to enter restaurants, gyms, and other entertainment venues.

Here’s the kicker: Anyone 16 and older MUST SHOW ID that matches their vaccine records.

Isn’t requiring people to provide ID racist and oppressive?

“Despite our diligent and equitable vaccine distribution efforts throughout this year, unfortunately, our city continues to see a surge of COVID-19 Delta and now Omicron cases,” Mayor Lori Lightfoot said in a statement. “New steps must be taken to protect the health and wellbeing of our residents. This public health order requiring proof of vaccination to visit certain indoor public places is a necessary measure to ensure we can continue to enjoy our city’s many amenities as we enter the new year.”

The vaccine requirement does not include houses of worship; grocery stores (though indoor dining sections within grocery stores would be included); locations in O’Hare International Airport or Midway International Airport; locations in a residential or office building the use of which is limited to residents, owners, or tenants of that building; or food service establishments providing only charitable food services, such as soup kitchens. Schools and day cares also are not included in the order.

Businesses will be required to develop and keep a written record of their plans for implementing and enforcing the vaccine requirement while also posting signage at entrances.

There are some exemptions to the requirement, however, city officials noted. Those include:

• Individuals entering an establishment for less than 10 minutes for ordering and

carrying out food; delivering goods; or using the bathroom;

• A nonresident performing artist who does not regularly perform or render services

in a covered location, or a nonresident individual accompanying such a performing

artist, while the performing artist or individual is in a covered location for the

purposes of such artist’s performance;

• A nonresident professional athlete or a nonresident individual accompanying such

professional athlete, who enters a covered location as part of their regular

employment for purposes of the professional athlete/sports team competition;

• Individuals who have previously received a medical or religious exemption (e.g.

from an employer), provided such patrons show the establishment proof of the

medical or religious exemption and a COVID-19 test administered by a medical

professional within the last 72 hours prior to entering.

• An individual 18 years of age or younger who enters a covered location to

participate in an activity organized by a school or after-school program offered by

any pre-kindergarten through grade twelve public or non-public school; and

• An individual who enters for the purposes of voting in a municipal, state, or federal

election; or, pursuant to law, assisting or accompanying a voter or observing such

election

NY Times: US Hid True Toll of Air Wars; Thousands of Dead Civilians, Many of Them Children

President Barack Obama called it “the most precise air campaign in history”

Thousands of previously hidden Pentagon documents show that the US air wars in the Middle East have been marked by "deeply flawed intelligence" and have killed thousands of civilians, many of them children, according to a shocking new report in the New York Times Saturday afternoon.

The 5-year Times investigation received more than 1,300 reports examining airstrikes in Iraq and Syria from September 2014 to January 2018, more than 5,400 pages in all. None of these records show any findings of wrongdoing on the actions of the US military.

The Times reporting confirms many of the previous reports by whistleblowers Daniel Hale, Chelsea Manning and others. On July 27, 2021, whistleblower Hale was sentenced to 45 months in federal prison for exposing the true civilian toll of the US drone program. “I am here because I stole something that was never mine to take — precious human life,” Hale said at his sentencing.

The trove of documents — the military’s own confidential assessments of more than 1,300 reports of civilian casualties, obtained by The New York Times — lays bare how the air war has been marked by deeply flawed intelligence, rushed and often imprecise targeting and the deaths of thousands of civilians, many of them children, a sharp contrast to the American government’s image of war waged by all-seeing drones and precision bombs.

The documents show, too, that despite the Pentagon’s highly codified system for examining civilian casualties, pledges of transparency and accountability have given way to opacity and impunity. In only a handful of cases were the assessments made public. Not a single record provided includes a finding of wrongdoing or disciplinary action. Fewer than a dozen condolence payments were made, even though many survivors were left with disabilities requiring expensive medical care. Documented efforts to identify root causes or lessons learned are rare.

The air campaign represents a fundamental transformation of warfare that took shape in the final years of the Obama administration, amid the deepening unpopularity of the forever wars that had claimed more than 6,000 American service members. The United States traded many of its boots on the ground for an arsenal of aircraft directed by controllers sitting at computers, often thousands of miles away. President Barack Obama called it “the most precise air campaign in history.”

International rugby star Kawa Leauma dead at 32

New Zealand-born rugby player Kawa Leauma has passed away after a “freak accident” saw the rugby star rushed to hospital.

Spanish rugby star Kawa Leauma has died in a “freak accident”.

The New Zealand-born 32-year-old suffered severe head injuries after he reportedly fell eight metres from the terrace of a shopping centre in Amsterdam.

While he was rushed to hospital for surgery, Leauma passed away on Tuesday.

Spain’s Rugby Federation confirmed the player had “suffered a freak accident”, issuing a statement that read: “We regret to announce the death of Kawa Leauma”.

The Federation said they would not be releasing any more details surrounding Leauma’s death at the request of his wife, who is travelling to Amsterdam from New Zealand.

“At the express wish of his wife, who is currently travelling to the Dutch capital, at the moment we cannot give more information and we ask for the utmost respect for her and her entire family. Rest in peace, Kawa.”

Leauma had been slated to play in Saturday’s match against the Netherlands, however his official debut was delayed due to administrative issues.

The Sun reports Leauma was believed to have been meeting up with Dutch rugby players when the fall occurred after the floor beneath him gave way. However, investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death are ongoing.

Minnesota Gov. Walz, Family Test Positive for COVID-19

MINNEAPOLIS—Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has tested positive for COVID-19, along with his wife and teenage son, the governor’s office announced Tuesday.

Walz said in a statement that the three of them tested positive on Monday after his son began experiencing mild symptoms over the weekend. The governor and first lady Gwen Walz remain asymptomatic.

All three have been vaccinated, including Walz who received the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine in March and the Moderna booster in October. They will quarantine for 10 days, Walz said

“My family and I are isolating, and I will continue to work from home until I feel better and test negative for the virus,” Walz said in a statement. “In the meantime, I encourage every Minnesotan to get tested before the holidays, and to roll up their sleeves and get their vaccine and their booster to ensure they, too, have strong protection against COVID-19.”

“As a dad, I’m super concerned for my family,” Walz said in a video posted on Twitter, while expressing faith in the effectiveness of vaccines and booster shots, citing his own lack of symptoms. The governor urged Minnesotans to get the booster shot and get tested if they experience any symptoms during the holiday season.

“The biggest gift we can give is staying safe and seeing our relatives into the new year,” he said.

The Omicron variant has quickly become the dominant variant, making up 73 percent of new infections across the country this week, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Minnesota hospital capacity remains strained amid fears of an Omicron-fueled spike in cases, with nearly 1,500 people hospitalized with complications due to COVID-19 as of Monday, including 355 in intensive care.

Parents Outraged After DC School Instructor Makes 3rd-Graders Act Out Genocide of the Holocaust: Report

A Jewish third-grader was forced to portray Adolf Hitler when a Washington, D.C., school instructor made children reenact scenes from the Holocaust in the school’s library, according to news reports.

But the instructor claims the story has been distorted.

An email Friday from Watkins Elementary School Principal M. Scott Berkowitz to the parents of third-graders at the school outlined what it said took place, according to The Washington Post. The instructor has been placed on leave, the Post reported.

The email said the Friday lesson included “students being asked to portray participants from the Holocaust like Adolf Hitler, digging ditches to serve as mass graves, and simulated shootings. It was also alleged that the staff member leading the lesson also made anti-Semitic statements,” according to WTTG-TV.

The Post said that a parent whose child was involved said the child forced to play Hitler was Jewish, and that he was told to pretend to commit suicide. Hitler shot himself in a bunker in Berlin 1945.

One child was told to pretend to be on a train to a concentration camp and pretend he was being killed in a gas chamber, a parent told the Post.

That child also had to pretend to shoot his peers, the parent said.

Parents were given anonymity by the Post.

One parent said pupils why the Germans did what they did, and were told by the staff member it was “because the Jews ruined Christmas,” the Post reported.

Students were told by the staff member not to talk about what she had them do, but they told a teacher anyway, the Post reported.

“I want to acknowledge the gravity of this poor instructional decision, as students should never be asked to act out or portray any atrocity, especially genocide, war, or murder,” Berkowitz wrote in the email, according to the Post.

When WTTG spoke with a parent whose name was withheld, the woman said the children were harmed by the lesson.

“My husband picked up our child after school and there was a lot of sobbing and crying and distress,” the mother told the station.

The children involved “are traumatized. One parent said that their child was worried the teacher in question was hiding at their house. Children are having nightmares and generally having a very hard time,” she said.

Youngkin’s Education Sec Pick Founded Org That Calls For Collecting Children’s Data, Raked In Nearly $26 Million From Bill Gates

Republican Virginia Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin’s secretary of education pick founded an organization that advocates for the collection of children’s data. It also raked in nearly $26 million in funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, according to records from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation reviewed by the Daily Caller.

Youngkin tapped Aimee Rogstad Guidera, president of Guidera Strategy, on Monday. Between 2005 and 2018, Guidera was the founder and chief executive of the Data Quality Campaign (DQC), a national organization that advocates for the collection of data on American school children.

DQC encourages states to create unique identifiers for each students — such as a student ID number — to anonymously track student data on a state-wide level, according to the company’s 2006 10-step plan. The organization calls for states to use data, such as students’ grades, class schedules and more, to create reports used to influence state and federal policy.

States are already mandated to publish “report cards” that provide parents and the public with general information about state and district school performance and progress, per the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965.

DQC now calls for students’ data to be used to foster “equitable education outcomes,” according to their Data for Equity project page. The organization also promoted a federal data collection project that measures the nation’s progress “towards equity goals.” DQC also recommended that school leadership and state governing and advisory boards make staffing decisions that are representative of the racial or gender breakdown of a given community.

The push for “equity” via student data began after Guidera’s 2018 exit, according to a timeline review of DQC’s website.

Between 2014 and 2016, DQC’s legislative agendas were focused on protecting student privacy, according to the organization’s 2014, 2015 and 2016 legislative breakdown. Under Guidera’s leadership, the organization also promoted and passed legislation that provided parents the ability to opt their child out of data collection to third-part service providers.

In 2017 — while Guidera remained at the helm — DQC supported policy that helped school districts subvert student privacy rules, according to DQC’s year in review. The organization supported two amendments in Connecticut that would have subverted a public school district from implementing Public Act 16-18, which “adds a layer of requirements to ensure student privacy.”

DQC also supported a Maryland commission on restorative practices and ending the “school-to-prison pipeline” in 2017.

Often a critic, Biden praises Trump twice for COVID-19 vaccine speed and boosters

President Joe Biden offered rare praise for former President Donald Trump not once, but twice in his remarks Tuesday on COVID-19 response efforts.

He first thanked the Trump administration for the speed of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout after previously denying former President Donald Trump credit on numerous occasions.

"Let me be clear. Thanks to the prior administration and our scientific community, America is one of the first countries to get the vaccine," Biden said, without naming Trump.

Biden later mentioned Trump by name, singling out the 45th president for receiving the COVID-19 booster shot.

"It may be one of the few things he and I agree on. People with booster shots are highly protected. Join them, join us," Biden said.

Operation Warp Speed began under Trump in May 2020 as a public-private partnership to rollout COVID-19 vaccines in record timing.

Before taking office, Biden questioned if a vaccine approved under Trump would be safe. Vice President Kamala Harris made similar comments against the vaccine at the time.

Shortly after Biden's inauguration, the White House falsely claimed that Trump did not leave a vaccine distribution plan.

Biden falsely said in March that the Trump administration had "contracted not nearly enough vaccine to cover adults in America. We rectified that."

As His Presidency Founders, Biden Scapegoats The Unvaccinated

A few days after the 2020 presidential election, President-elect Joe Biden pledged to be “a president who seeks not to divide but to unify,” a theme he’d campaigned on. “Let this grim era of demonization in America begin to end here and now,” he said in his victory speech. “It’s time to put away the harsh rhetoric, lower the temperature, see each other again, listen to each other again.”

So much for all that. As Biden’s first year in office comes to a close, he has proven to be one of the most divisive presidents in generations, surpassing even Donald Trump in his vindictiveness and willingness to demonize Americans who disagree with him — even if it means lying about COVID-19.

Consider the events of the past few days. Following a White House briefing last Thursday on the spread of the omicron variant, Biden said, “We are looking at a winter of severe illness and death for the unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm.”

The next day, White House COVID response coordinator Jeff Zients repeated this line, saying, “We are intent on not letting omicron disrupt work and school for the vaccinated. You’ve done the right thing, and we will get through this,” he said. “For the unvaccinated, you’re looking at a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families, and the hospitals you may soon overwhelm.”

So that’s the official administration line: opened schools and businesses for the vaccinated and “severe illness and death” for the unvaccinated, who will overwhelm hospitals with the omicron variant and, by implication, bear responsibility for the pandemic from here on out.

It’s one of the most bizarre and appalling statements from a presidential administration in American history, breathtaking in its dishonest scapegoating and shocking in its callous disregard for the millions of Americans who have decided, for reasons of their own, not to get the Covid shots.

Bullying these people will not persuade them, and neither will lying about the omicron variant. There’s no evidence right now that omicron is going to bring “severe illness and death,” or that it’s even going to cause a surge in hospitalizations. The evidence so far suggests just the opposite.

In South Africa, where omicron first emerged last month, hospitalization rates have fallen by 91 percent amid the current wave. Just 1.7 percent of all Covid patients were admitted to a hospital in the second week of the omicron surge, compared to 19 percent in the same week of the delta surge, according to South African health officials.

What’s more, the omicron variant appears to be milder than earlier strains of Covid-19. “We are really seeing very small increases in the number of deaths,” said Michelle Groome, head of health surveillance for South Africa’s National Institute for Communicable Diseases. Others have also noted a decoupling of new Covid cases and deaths in South Africa, whereas in past surges they have been closely aligned.

$150 Million Embezzled from Sony, Deposited Into Bank and Converted To 3,800 Bitcoins

AN DIEGO – The United States took action in federal court Monday to protect and ultimately return more than $154 million in funds that were allegedly stolen from a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Sony Group Corporation and then seized by law enforcement during the FBI’s investigation of the theft.

The United States filed a civil forfeiture complaint in the Southern District of California to protect Sony’s interest in the property, which an employee allegedly embezzled in May 2021 and converted to more than 3,879 Bitcoins valued today at more than $180 million. Those funds were seized by law enforcement on December 1, 2021, based on the FBI’s investigation.

According to the government’s complaint, Rei Ishii, an employee of Sony Life Insurance Company Ltd. (“Sony Life”) in Tokyo, allegedly diverted the $154 million when the company attempted to transfer funds between its financial accounts. Ishii allegedly did this by falsifying transaction instructions, which caused the funds to be transferred to an account that Ishii controlled at a bank in La Jolla, California. Ishii then quickly converted the funds to Bitcoin cryptocurrency, the complaint said.

Based on evidence uncovered during the FBI’s investigation, a seizure warrant was authorized in June 2021 by a U.S. Magistrate Judge in the Southern District of California. As alleged in the supporting affidavit, law enforcement was able to trace Bitcoin transfers and identify that approximately 3,879.16 Bitcoins, representing the proceeds of the funds stolen from a subsidiary of Sony Life, had been transferred to a specific Bitcoin address and then to an offline cryptocurrency cold wallet.

The FBI, with significant assistance from Sony and Citibank, continued to investigate in cooperation with Japan’s National Police Agency, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office, and JPEC (Japan Prosecutors unit on Emerging Crimes). As a result of this coordinated effort, investigators obtained the “private key” – the rough equivalent of a password – needed to access the Bitcoin address. All the Bitcoins traceable to the theft have been recovered and fully preserved. Ishii has been criminally charged in Japan.

“It is our intent to return the stolen money to the victim of this audacious theft, and today’s action helps us do that,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Randy Grossman. “This case is an example of amazing work by FBI agents and Japanese law enforcement, who teamed up to track this virtual cash. Criminals should take note: You cannot rely on cyptocurrency to hide your ill-gotten gains from law enforcement. The United States coordinates extensively with its international partners to forestall crime and retrieve stolen funds.” Grossman thanked the prosecution team, the FBI and Japanese authorities for their excellent work on this case.

“The FBI was able to recover these stolen funds for two very important reasons,” said FBI Special Agent in Charge Suzanne Turner. “First, Sony and Citibank immediately contacted and cooperated with law enforcement as soon as the theft was detected, and the FBI worked in partnership with both to locate the funds. Second, the FBI’s footprint internationally through our Legal Attaché offices and the pre-existing relationships we have established in foreign countries – in this instance with Japan – enabled law enforcement to coordinate and identify the subject. The FBI’s technical expertise was able to trace the money to the subject’s crypto wallet and seize those funds.”

Microsoft is accused of “stealth takeover” of UK health service

That’s a quick way to summarize allegations in the Daily Mail now flying around regarding the UK’s National Health Service, the NHS, which thought it was receiving a valuable free Teams plan from Microsoft, only to find out it was used as a way to push domestic competitors out of the long-term picture.

It’s a story as old as Microsoft, and a good lesson to all those in the free and open source community who now believe Microsoft’s shtick of becoming a reformed monopolistic bully who only wants to collaborate to the benefit of all.

But if investigations out of the UK confirm Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng’s suspicions, what the world will have essentially learned is that the principles established towards smaller competitors during Microsoft’s heyday and while Bill Gates was at the helm are to all intents and purposes still a part of the company’s DNA: “Embrace, extend – extinguish.”

The story here goes that at the height of the pandemic, Microsoft offered its Teams collaborative software to the NHS for free. But under what was seemingly a generous offer Kwarteng now fears to uncover “a takeover by stealth” that eventually pushed smaller British firms out of the business that became particularly sought after and lucrative during the many months of lockdowns.

And while the NHS is said to have saved “millions of pounds” – a drop in Microsoft’s revenue bucket – the effect on smaller competitors in the UK is reported to have been devastating, as they lost contracts also worth millions, the amount that this time around has a make-or-break importance for most competitors to any Tech Giant.

In the end, Microsoft’s “generosity” is strongly suspected to have stemmed from the desire to, in this roundabout way that also secured it some very good press while it was happening, “exercise control” and circumvent competition that would have happened in an open market.

Police warn of human trafficking surge as border restrictions ease

“Human trafficking is happening here in Australia and it is up to all of us to work together to protect people who are vulnerable to these exploitative crime types. If you or someone you know could be a victim of this crime type, please report it by calling 131 AFP (237).”

The AFP is responsible for investigating human trafficking, including entry and exit trafficking, slavery, forced marriage and forced labour. Detective Superintendent Crossling said signs that someone may be a victim of human trafficking include:

The person appears reluctant to travel, and/or their movements appear to be controlled by another person;

The person does not have a passport or another form of identity or the person can’t access them;

The person is subject to poor living or working conditions;

The person never or rarely leaves their house for non-work reasons;

The person has little or no money or no access to their earnings;

The person has physical injuries which may have resulted from assault, harsh treatment or unsafe work practices; or

The person is always in the presence of their employer or another person, who does not want or allow them to socialise with others.

Reports of human trafficking tripled in Australia from 2013-14 to 2020-21. During the COVID pandemic, reports of human trafficking have remained steady as not all cases involve victims crossing the international border.

Covid microchip developer explains why people want vaccine passport implant

A Swedish company has sparked debate after showcasing a microchip that can be implanted under the skin and scanned as proof of one’s Covid-19 vaccination status.

The microchip technology was developed by Stockholm-based startup Epicenter. The tiny chip stores a Covid-19 vaccine passport the likes of which are increasingly being mandated across the globe. It can be read by a device using a near-field communication protocol – the same tech used by credit cards and other digital payment systems.

The chip can be inserted either in one’s arm or between one’s thumb and forefinger, with the data readable through the skin. A unique code generates the individual’s vaccine passport file on a reader, as its makers displayed in the demo video distributed to multiple media outlets.

Epicenter’s chief distribution officer, Hannes Sjoblad, told the news agency AFP its microchip offered an efficient way to have one’s Covid status checked at a movie theater or shopping center without recourse to a cell phone.

“What matters to me is that the people who get chip implants, they do so on a voluntary basis,” Sjoblad said. “And because they are curious, and they want to work with this technology.”

The implants cost €100 ($113) a piece and the distributors describe the tech involved as “passive,” as it’s unable to generate a signal on its own – though this has not stopped the prospect of Covid chips raising red flags with activists.

“Remember when this was just a conspiracy?” US Representative Lauren Boebert (R-Colorado) tweeted in reaction to initial reports about the implants.

Sweden announced in December that vaccine passports would be required at any venue or event with a capacity of more than 100 people. Some 6,000 people have reportedly opted to have an implant since then.
