It's #CrosswordPuzzleDay. Prior to D-Day in 1944, several codewords including OMAHA, OVERLORD and NEPTUNE appeared in the Daily Telegraph crossword. An investigation found the puzzle compiler had innocently used the words after his boys had picked them up from chatty soldiers.
