I never left /pol/ after Q did.

That post by 8-bit was made when FJ went on the Muh Captcha from hell era that caused Q to have to step in and FJ did a mea culpa and became sweet william now afterwards.
They later kissed and made up and are back to being bffs now.

8-bit really did come out of "retirement" to start QRB as an alternative to what FJ was doing to QR at the time.
He has since disowned (literally) QRB and is on good terms with FJ post Q laying down the law about how QR should be run.
8bit was the OG BO of QRB.
Then he later dumped/abandoned it and Jim let Swampfox/GYB (Comms) take over the BO role there.
So, its current version is HQ for /Comms/.
Now, I can't vouch for whether or not that specific post has been shop'd, but 8bit was down on FJ at the time for what he was doing at QR.
