The F35 still has potential. And has stealth capabilities that make it next Gen still to this day. It's still a hypersonic, stealth, jet fighter.
In the 1960's and 70's the F16 for .i.e, had an accident rate roughly 15% higher. Losing f16's around, 2 per week.
As opposed to the the F35, "5 aircrafts" all around where lost in the last decade. That was including landing accidents.
With the right attitude, motivation and engineering, anything can become dev/ or retooled for air superioirty.
Imo, the F35 and F22 are not going anywhere. The problems as many know, Stemed from the BO administration at the time. The problems was the over all collapse of America. Which we all know, was intentional, to weaken the country from the inside out, through infiltration. Init.
This quick 17sec video, depicts F35 landing on carrier to what would seem like seamless timely landing. Maybe cause error and or glitches fixed? Or more over, a more skilled pilot.
