Gentlemen, this is why there must be an amending of the Constitution by a Article V Convention of States. America is not a failed experiment. Far from from it but the current state of our governance has become intolerable. We allowed this to happen.

The Declaration, BIll of Rights and the Constitution itself are but words on a parched piece of paper. With no virtue, reverence or respect for those words they are just that, words. In amending the Constitution many make the false claim that it would turn into a runaway convention and in theory, that is possible but highly unlikely. How many states in the union would vote for a rewriting of the 2nd Amentment? There are some but no where near enough (34) to ratify a change like that. All of the amendments and every change would be decided and agreed upon before the convention itself would be called to order. If some how, some way the progressive states were able to include such a rewriting of the 2nd Amendment, the other states that disagree would halt the process. The Convention would fall apart.

The Founders knew, instinctively that eventually tyranny would encroach on the people's rights. They were wise observers of history. They provided two ways to redress grievences in Article V. Traditionally, the congress has proposed amendments and voted on sending them to the states for ratification but it is the States themselves that can call for this convention and the Congress has absolutely no say about it. Right now there are 14 states that have passed CoS resolutions. I'm proud to say as a Georgia anon that Georgia was the first to do so. This is going to be the only way this country is going to endure as a Republic. The ability and success of the left to manipulate, distort and reinterpret the Constitution necessitates clarifying and laying some teeth into the amendments. The Founders gave US the tool to do this. We just need to pick it upand use it.

Mark Levin wrote an incredible book on this issue called "The Liberty Amendments". Levin at first, thought this was a very bad idea because he too believed that in calling for a CoS that the Convention would be hijacked by the left and change everything. As he always does, he thoroughly researched and educated himself onthis issue and had his thoughts about it completely reversed.

It is the only legal, moral and constitutional way to do this if we are to remain a civil society guided by the rule of law. The alternative will be civil war. They are bucking hard for it. They want it. It would give them the perfect opportunity to change everything the first of which, would be the confiscation of firearms. So far, We, the People, have been very, very patient. It remains to be seen just how much longer that is going to be the case. Every anon on this board, well every right minded anon here should contact their LOCAL representatives who represent them in their respective state legislatures. This is where it starts.
