Not true. My cousin who runs a large Chevy dealership told me prices are high because of some microchip shortage, but I recently talked to a local used car dealership whose prices used to be so good that most of his vehicles were bought in volume by big dealerships. He told me that the “microchip shortage” is utter bullshit and the real reason they are not selling new gas vehicles now is to push the electric car market sales for Biden’s new green deal. He said if there is a microchip shortage then why can you buy new electric vehicles but not gas vehicles? The microchip shortage scam is also meant to cripple small car dealerships like his.
