I think Jan 6 is just to try to pry out information about what Trump actually planned and did to keep the country safe militarily because he knew covid was a bio-attack and that the would not be president. I'm not sure if Trump allowed it to be stolen, but I think it was the better option.
Brandon must have fucked up bad in Afghanistan. Trump had the plan and knows just what Brandon did. Speculation, but it could be that Patel runs with the real military, the one Trump is commander & chief of.
Along with this, I think the people left behind in Afghanistan know where Brandon fucked up, as well. They were left to rot there because Brandon doesn't want certain stories to be told.
Bottom line is Brandon and the gang don't really know what's going on behind the scenes. Trump locked them out of the info loop.
