You are right about the MSM will hide the certain information. However, you do know why opposition want to spread the disinformation, right? Once everyone is fooled by the false information and it went viral, they can show that it was not true at all. Then they can try to disregard all other incriminating evidence and say that "You were spreading the fake news! You are not credible."
