The only thing he could do, since all his therapeutic initiatives were shot down and ridiculed, was to run with Fauci's suggestion that a vaccine was needed. Fauci said 5-12 years, but Trump got it out in 9 months or so.

If you think the vaccine is poison and the side effect risk is too high. Don't take it. Have you ever read the possible side effects of Aspirin, BTW? They all have risks. Some people choose the medication route, some don't. Problem with not taking the vaccine is that the rest of the world doesn't give a shit what you think. If they say they want a vaccination to get into their country, that's part of the equation if you travel out of necessity. It's always been that way. Nothing new for travelers. International business would have wanted a vaccine out early. Many regular folks as well, for whatever reason. That was part of Trump's decision, without a doubt. The economy couldn't be allowed to be destroyed.

Trump was in the fuck this cure being worse than the disease mode, but no one would listen. Not sure how the numbers would stack up between the deleterious health effects of a crashed economy vs the side effect casualties of a vaccine, which wasn't mandatory. Maybe he ran some numbers.

Bottom line for me is, Trump is convinced China released the pathogen, and that means Trump had to do something to reduce casualties as the first step. The second step was in the works, which may be why Brandon was shoved into our faces. It ain't over, though, if you ask me.
