It's not like anyone is getting poisoned anywhere. But even if that's the case, positive thoughts will destroy all poison. Just drink a liter of bleach, think positively and you will survive.
It's weird, give people a cure or an antidote and despite negative thoughts they heal. But I guess these people just didn't have enough negative thoughts to be affected by it.
It's not about the rules, it's about compliance.
