Mother Teresa's charity denies bank account freeze after Mamata blames Centre
The Missionaries of Charity on Monday said the Union home ministry has not ordered a freeze on any of its bank accounts after West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee alleged the same. The charity, founded by Mother Teresa, issued a clarification saying theForeign Contribution Regulation Actregistration has been “neither suspended nor cancelled.”

The Global Consciousness Project is an international, multidisciplinary collaboration of scientists and engineers. We collect data continuously from a global network of physical random number generators located in up to 70 host sites around the world at any given time. The data are transmitted to a central archive which now contains more than 15 years of random data in parallel sequences of synchronized 200-bit trials generated every second.
Our purpose is to examine subtle correlations that may reflect the presence and activity of consciousness in the world. We hypothesize that there will be structure in what should be random data, associated with major global events that engage our minds and hearts.

New York personal trainer arrested and accused of shooting his parents on Christmas
The suspect's 65-year-old father was shot in the back and 64-year-old mother in the head, officials said.
"Both victims were conscious and alert and were transported in a Nassau County Police Ambulance to a local hospital for treatment," according to a police statement.

An undercover officer in Boston received a photo of an 18-month-old boy clutching the toy. From there, more than 40 men in the U.S. and Europe have been arrested as investigators tracked down the ring over the past two years. The photo was forwarded to Interpol, where officials identified the toy as a character from a popular Dutch children's book. They were able to identify the child and arrest his babysitter, who allegedly had thousands of images of children being molested. Investigators have been able to identify more than 140 victims so far in the case.

Long-time Missouri boarding school doctor ‘still at large’ after child sex warrant
David Earl Smock, 57, is charged with three felonies, including one count of second-degree statutory sodomy regarding a child. He’s also charged in Greene County with third-degree molestation of a child younger than 14 years of age and enticement or attempted enticement of a child younger than 15.
Smock came to Missouri from Arizona and in 2006 built an 11-bedroom mansion with an indoor pool and gymnasium in rural Cedar County between Stockton and Jerico Springs. That location at 6360 E. 1570 Road, which Smock uses as his home and business addresses, also houses Legacy Academy Adventures, a Christian boarding school for boys ages 9-15. Legacy is run by Brent Jackson, who has close ties to Smock and was an Agape staffer for 18 years, part of that time serving as its dean of students. Jackson left Agape in 2018.
