Filtering only removes that users view of an id's posts that they consider to be useless and stupid. It is still available to everyone else.
There are certain obvious shills that I filter every bread. Usually people that are obsessed with a single topic that is not supportive of the boards efforts.
However, I agree that some learning can be had by not filtering. We need to know our enemies and understand their tactics. So by not filtering we may also help other anons who are getting derailed by these shills.
If you are not a shill, I suggest proving it by placing these memes in the MEME thread and then back off a bit.
