Nothing wrong with focusing on Family.
I recommend though, more reflection, meditation on the nature of God, and more prayer. Reading scripture is great too. Look into the Nag Hammadi. You have a challenge before you, fren. If you become cold and lifeless, your Family will suffer. You must open your heart. That breakthrough will come. Being honest with yourself is great. But to follow Him… you must let go of the darkness.
