The elderly consume but no longer contribute.
Killing the elderly reduces the load on Social Security and Medicare.
If the elderly were on a pension, such as a public pension, their death reduces the amount of benefits drawn over a lifetime.
If they had annuities, the insurance companies benefit.
When the elderly die, they leave their shit behind to someone, or not. This can potentially set up a tax event in some cases, resulting in a windfall for the government. .
Killing the elderly causes additional economic activity by way of burials, ceremonies, etc.
Thus, they want your parents dead because they are more useful to the government dead than using the very services they paid for all of their lives.
