If all the bad actors know that they have lost control, and this most recent event isn't one of them acting against POTUS, then what we're dealing with here is pure show. Everyone here must've figured that out by now, right?
So, what's the purpose for the show? It's for the bad actors to go on thinking that Un is now completely rogue, and an issue for Trump. He really isn't, but they don't know that. Even if they think they're wise enough to believe Un isn't rogue (and in addition, controlled by Trump, now) what play do they have?
They could try to manipulate Un again, but I'm certain he doesn't want another mountain shithammered by US Space Tech. They could try to bargain with Un, but what if that's a honeypot/trap? You know, a last ditch effort to round up a few more baddies? Then they'll be scared away from that prospect.
