The basic design is sound. I would venture to guess this is a Russian design based on the Flettner Fl 282. We got the designer, Anton Flettner and 2 of his prototypes after WW2. Russia got a prototype too. Flettner founded Kaman and his K-Max helicopter is one of the most awesome fire fighting choppers out there.
