If you created something to have a relationship with, would you make it a robot unable to make contrary decisions to loving you? God is all that is Good. If there is no other, how can you willingly accept Him? Agency/free will is the GAME. It all started in the Garden. HE GAVE THEM EVERYTHING BUT ONE. He had to give a choice.
