Unity anon here. Glad to have you here left-leaning anon! God bless you. What unites us is our love for our country, our families, our cherished Americanism. I think if we all took a long hard look in the honesty mirror then we would find that the majority of people are really close to center. Some are slightly left of center and some are slightly right of center which is perfectly normal and A-OK. These hard line left and right ideologies are an extreme minority but you would never know that if all you did was watch the evening news and read the morning paper which is why we are all here. We want truth, a fair shake, and good will to rule the day. We want our system of checks and balances restored. We want our God given and inalienable rights protected by the Constitution. We want to help each other, to each other succeed, to pick up our fellow man and cross the finish line together. Love and unity win. Division and hate lose. Yes there will always be disagreements but they should never be so great that we lose sight of our humanity and compassion for God's creation. And we must have term limits for Congess if we want a long term solution to our broken government.
