Legendary actress Betty White dies at 99, just weeks away from 100th birthday

by Summer Lane December 31, 2021

The legendary, Emmy award-winning actress Betty White, whose career has spanned 80 years in Hollywood, has died.

White, who began her career in the 1940s in radio before making the jump to a variety show called “Hollywood in Television”in 1949, was just weeks away from celebrating her 100th birthday.

Many Americans will remember her quirky and lovable roles on shows like “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” in the 1970s and of course, the incredibly successful sitcom, “Golden Girls,” which aired from 1985 to 1992.

My 100th birthday… I cannot believe it is coming up, and People Magazine is celebrating with me! The new issue of @people is available on newsstands nationwide tomorrow. https://t.co/kTQnsbMDGK

— Betty White (@BettyMWhite) December 28, 2021

Betty White was looking forward to celebrating her 100th birthday and recently appeared on the cover of People magazine to celebrate the milestone

According to a 2020 interview with Forbes magazine, White reflected on her breathtaking and diverse career in the entertainment industry: “I started in this business doing live television — five-and-one-half hours a day, six days a week on a variety show called Hollywood in Television. That was in 1949, and this is boring, I know, but I have never had any regrets. Some things works, and some didn’t.”

Betty White, in addition to being a comedienne, actress, and author, was also a passionate animal rights activist who originally dreamed of being either a zookeeper or a forest ranger as a child. A 2012 interview with the Smithsonian Magazine detailed her lifelong passion for animals and zoos, noting that she served as the trustee for the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association for almost 40 years. “I have been such a zoo nut all my life that I am practically a zookeeper!” she told the magazine.

White, whose impeccable comedic timing and memorable shows and movies have warmed the hearts of Americans for eight decades, was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Ludden. White’s passing marks the end of an era in the American film industry and leaves a void in entertainment that can never be filled.

More details released for Trump’s news conference on the anniversary of Jan. 6 Capitol protests

Further details have been released about President Trump’s planned press conference to be held on Jan. 6, 2022, the one-year anniversary of the storming of the United States Capitol building.

The press conference will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Jan. 6, 2022, at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla. During the press conference, Trump will highlight what he sees as the “real insurrection” he believes occurred on Nov. 3, 2020, and in the days leading up to the “stolen election.”

Upon announcing his planned Jan. 6 press conference, Trump said, “I will be having a news conference on January 6th at Mar-a-Lago to discuss all of these points, and more. He added, “Until then, remember, the insurrection took place on November 3rd, it was the completely unarmed protest of the rigged election that took place on January 6th,” he added.

Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America pic.twitter.com/V8IMLQACPq

— RSBN 🇺🇸 (@RSBNetwork) December 21, 2021

Trump has previously filed a lawsuit to stop the Jan. 6 House Committee investigating the events of the Capitol storming from obtaining documents, claiming “executive privilege.” The lawsuit struck back hard at the committee, blasting it as an “illegal fishing expedition.”

“The Committee’s request amounts to nothing less than a vexatious, illegal fishing expedition openly endorsed by Biden and designed to unconstitutionally investigate President Trump and his administration. Our laws do not permit such an impulsive, egregious action against a former President and his close advisors,” the lawsuit states.

The 45th president released a statement in October claiming that the Jan. 6 committee had launched a “witch hunt” against him and those closest to him.

He once again made the claim that the true insurrection took place on Nov. 3, not Jan. 6.

Trump wrote: “The Unselect Committee of partisan Democrats, and two very weak and pathetic RINOs, should come to the conclusion after spending many millions of dollars, that the real insurrection happened on November 3rd, the Presidential Election, not on January 6th — which was a day of protesting the Fake Election results.”

The 45th president’s press conference will take place on the same day that Speaker Nancy Pelosi has planned for the House of Representatives to have a “program of events” to mark the anniversary of the Capitol storming.

The day will begin with a moment of silence, followed by a separate event held at the Capitol headlined by historians Doris Kearns Goodwin and Jon Meacham, and will conclude with a candlelight vigil on the Capitol steps.

Trump predicts Kari Lake will WIN Arizona governor’s race

During an exclusive interview with RSBN’s Brian Glenn which aired Thursday night, President Donald Trump said he believes Republican candidate Kari Lake is going to win Arizona’s gubernatorial race in the 2022 midterm elections.

When Mr. Glenn mentioned Kari Lake, Trump said, “She’s doing great in Arizona. I think she’s gonna win big.” Describing his endorsed candidate in Arizona, Trump said, “She’s fantastic.” He also added, “She love the people, loves the state.”

The 45th president’s continued support of Kari Lake helps give her campaign the advantage it needs to compete against other Republican candidates during the Arizona primaries.

President Trump told Mr. Glenn that Lake wants “law and order” in Arizona. Specifically, he said, “She wants border protection and drug protection.” Kari Lake has even promised the people of Arizona that she will finish the Arizona border wall with “Arizona steel” if she is elected governor.

Thank you, President Trump, for your endorsement.

This means so much to me because I know how much you love America and how much the people of this country love you!

I promise to fight as hard for the people of Arizona as you have fought for us. pic.twitter.com/KvhYInBH6N

— Kari Lake for AZ Governor (@KariLake) September 28, 2021

When President Trump endorsed Kari Lake in September, he stated, “She is a fantastic person who spent many years working as a highly respected television anchor and journalist.”

Because of her experience in journalism, Trump believes she is in a strong position to “take on the Fake News Media.” Her experience will likely giver her an edge over other candidates who are not as familiar with how the news media operates.

Trump also said that Kari Lake will vastly outperform the current governor of Arizona. “She will do a far better job that RINO Governor Doug Ducey-won’t even be a contest,” said Trump.

As the state of Arizona has been scrutinized regarding the issue of election integrity in the 2020 election, conservatives are eager for a stronger Republican governor. Kari Lake represents this hope for conservatives and supporters of the 45th president.

Kari Lake’s poll numbers have shown a major lead over Republicans in the Arizona primary race for the Republican nominee.

If the race were held today, Kari Lake would face off against Democrat Katie Hobbs. Katie Hobbs is the current Secretary of State for Arizona, giving her instant name recognition for residents in Arizona. However, after 22 years at a news station in Phoenix, Kari Lake is also extremely popular among the people of Arizona, giving her a strong chance to become the next governor of Arizona.

Mark your calendars for RSBN's 2021 Year In Review hosted by @brianglenntv ft. EXCLUSIVE interviews with President Trump, @JasonMillerinDC, @RepMattGaetz, @gracesaldanaa, @KenPaxtonTX, @ScottPresler, and @KariLake 🎥

Kari Lake was be featured in an exclusive interview in RSBN’s “Year in Review,” giving conservatives an opportunity to hear her campaign message as she seeks to replace Governor Doug Ducey as the next Republican governor of Arizona. A victory for Kari Lake in Arizona would signal a return to America first policies in a state currently run by a “weak” Republican governor.

Trump to hold fundraiser for Joe Kent at Mar-a-Lago

Joe Kent, a retired Green Beret running for Congress, announced that President Donald Trump will be hosting a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago in support of his campaign. Joe Kent is running to replace Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Wash., in Washington’s 3rd congressional district.

The fundraiser for Joe Kent is scheduled for Feb. 1, 2022 at Trump’s headquarters in Mar-a-Lago.

The event is highly anticipated as President Trump’s support and endorsements are critical for serious Republican contenders in the 2022 primaries. The event will give Joe Kent an opportunity to generate support for his bid to unseat Congresswoman Beutler in Washington’s 3rd district. Additionally, it is sure to raise significant financial support that will be necessary for Kent to have a legitimate chance against the current establishment Republican.

Those who attend the fundraiser will get the privilege of enjoying a private reception with Joe Kent and President Trump. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take pictures with the 45th president and with Joe Kent. Tickets for the event will sell quickly given the immense popularity of President Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

I’m honored & thrilled to announce that President Trump is hosting a special evening in Mar-A-Lago for me.

Join us & together we will take our nation back!

Tickets are on sale now- https://t.co/cvawCojdUV pic.twitter.com/VjwshNN0My

— Joe Kent for WA-3 (@joekent16jan19) December 27, 2021

Trump endorsed Joe Kent in September, saying, “Joe Kent has my Complete and Total Endorsement!” He described Kent as, “A warrior for the America First agenda, unlike Jaime Herrera Beutler who voted, despite the facts, against the Republican Party and for the Democrats’ Impeachment Scam.”

Joe Kent’s campaign offers an alternative to Beutler, who is seen as a traitor to conservatives and supporters of President Trump.

After the 45th president’s endorsement, Kent thanked him and told Americans, “I’m honored & ready to take our country back!”

Defeating an establishment Republican will be a significant task for Joe Kent, however with Trump’s assistance, he could generate enough support to become the Republican candidate for Washington’s 3rd district.

Trump’s MAGA base is determined to replace the 10 U.S. House Republicans that voted to impeach Trump in January 2021, with strong conservative candidates who promote the America first agenda. Beutler, who voted to impeach Trump, could face backlash from Republican voters in the 2022 primaries.

Thank you very much President Trump!

I’m honored & ready to take our country back!

— Joe Kent for WA-3 (@joekent16jan19) September 1, 2021

Trump’s fundraiser for Joe Kent is one of many campaign events the 45th president will be hosting for Republicans during the 2022 midterm elections. Each event generates more excitement for Republican candidates and motivates the MAGA base to continue to vote for America first candidates. The 2022 midterms will reveal just how effective President Trump’s campaigning for Republicans is

Trump’s RIPS Biden ‘caving’ to China and showing ‘stunning INCOMPETENCE’ in Afghanistan

President Donald Trump slammed Joe Biden on Thursday for his catastrophic foreign policy failures in 2021, calling Biden’s leadership “weakness, humiliation, and putting America last.”

In one of a series of lengthy statements released through Trump’s Save America super PAC, the 45th president detailed Biden’s “mortifying” actions in the White House, ripping him on everything from his “backstabbing” behavior toward Israel, to his “bitter betrayals” of America’s allies.

Joe Biden, whose first year in office has been marred by record-level inflation, tepid job growth, tyrannical vaccine mandate policies, and a horribly botched Afghanistan withdrawal, drew President Trump’s ire in his statement on his “shameful weakness” on handling China.

Under President Trump’s leadership, the United States experienced “peace, calm, and stability in the world because people RESPECTED America,” Trump stated. In contrast, with Biden there has been, “No accountability on the Virus,” Trump continued. “Biden[s] team openly MOCKED and insulted Chinese diplomats.”

Biden, who campaigned in 2020 largely on the promise to “shut down” the coronavirus in American society, has now stated that there is “no federal solution” for solving Covid during a Tuesday meeting with multiple state governors, according to the New York Post.

Year in Review: Joe Biden’s Devastating Foreign Policy Failures pic.twitter.com/ujSNnRE5qn

— Liz Harrington (@realLizUSA) December 31, 2021

Trump’s full statement on Biden’s numerous foreign policy disasters

Even worse, National Review reported that over 400,000 Americans have died with Covid since Biden took office, bringing the national death toll to over 800,000 people.

According to Trump, “Yes Joe, China is indeed ‘eating your lunch…’ It’s no wonder Joe Biden was China’s choice for president: He supported giving them most favored nation trade status, celebrated their entry into the WTO and during his vice presidency repeatedly lauded the Chinese regime.”

Trump also pointed out that Biden has refused to bring up China’s refusal to cooperate with an investigation into the origins of the coronavirus and demand teamwork from President Xi.

Additionally, Trump eviscerated Biden’s foreign policy shortcomings in Afghanistan, which Trump called “stunning incompetence” that paved the way for “a horrific terrorist attack,” resulting in the deaths of 13 American troops and more than 180 civilians. F

urther, Trump slammed Biden for leaving “hundreds” of American citizens behind enemy lines after Afghanistan fell to the Taliban as a result of U.S. troops’ withdrawing, and surrendering “tens of billions of dollars in U.S. military hardware to the Taliban – which is now among the best equipped militaries in the world.”

Biden wants credit for what he inherited: vaccines and a rising stock market.

But what's his actual record? Crushing inflation, a border crisis, the chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal, and his botched handling of the pandemic.

President Biden's first year has been a disaster.

— Tom Cotton (@TomCottonAR) December 30, 2021

Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton (R) criticizes Biden’s first year in office in a statement on Twitter

The 45th president also reminded everyone in his statement that Biden proceeded to blow up innocent Afghan civilians in a “disastrously failed airstrike” spearheaded by General Milley following the bungled withdrawal, resulting in the deaths of ten civilians, seven of whom were children.

“Biden’s Afghanistan debacle was the POLAR OPPOSITE of President Trump’s strength and conditions-based approach,” the statement concluded. “This calamity would NEVER have happened under President Trump – and everyone in the world knows it.”

Indeed, most Americans are wondering when Joe Biden’s parade of national and international embarrassments will end, paving the way forward for an exciting 2022 midterm election season for the GOP and President Trump as conservatives attempt to wrangle political control away from Biden, who has been “asleep on the job.”

In an upcoming exclusive interview with RSBN’s Brian Glenn, President Trump predicted a “tremendous Republican victory” in the 2022 midterm elections, adding another “tremendous victory” in the 2024 presidential race.

“People are just tired of it,” Trump said referring to Americans’ disdain for the current governmental Leadership. “You’re going to have a tremendous Republican victory in 2022 and I think you’re going to have a tremendous Republican victory for that beautiful White House.”

The 45th president appeared confident in GOP victories in the next election cycle, saying Republicans have a “big chance” of taking both the House and the Senate.
