The Queen's decision to knight British Hillary isn't proving very popular.. Rightly so.

'What a disgusting, shameful decision': Fury as Tony Blair is given a knighthood with Britons branding him a 'war criminal' and demanding honours system is scrapped

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10360523/Fury-Tony-Blair-Sir-Queen-Britons-branding-war-criminal.html

The decision to make Tony Blair a Sir has been met with anger by many on social media, as the former Prime Minister was branded a 'war criminal'.

Sir Tony has long faced a backlash over his decision to lead the UK into Iraq and Afghanistan, which cost the lives of 179 British personnel as well as many more civilians.

But it was announced last night that he had been appointed to the Order of the Garter as a Knight Companion.

All but one of the prime ministers before him were appointed a few years after leaving office. But Sir Tony waited over 14 years.

It had been suggested that the Queen's strained relationship with him during his ten years in power may have contributed to the 'snub'.

On Twitter today, many made their feelings clear following the ennobling. Political commentator Liam Young wrote: 'The man should be in the dock of The Hague. What a shameful day.'

Another said: 'The contempt in which Britain's elite holds the public has never been more eloquently expressed than in the decision to award Tony Blair the highest order of knighthood. One million Iraqis dead, three million dispossessed, a trail of blood to 7/7. Rise Sir Tony!'

Many others demanded an overhaul of the honours system, with one user describing it as the 'favour for a friend' list.

Sir Tony has faced years of criticism over the Iraq War, culminating in the devastating report by Sir John Chilcot in 2016, which found that the former prime minister overplayed evidence about Saddam Hussein's weaponry and ignored peaceful means to send troops into the country.

In a devastating set of conclusions, Sir John found Blair presented the case for war with 'a certainty which was not justified' based on 'flawed' intelligence about Iraq's supposed weapons of mass destruction (WMD).

Seems notable under the current climate..

Dame Joan Collins, 88, reveals how her first husband drugged and raped her on their first date, while she was warned by Marilyn Monroe about Hollywood 'wolves' in new documentary about her life

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-10360625/Dame-Joan-Collins-88-reveals-five-marriages-new-documentary.html

Dame Joan Collins has revealed how her first husband raped her on their first date as she remembered details of her five marriages in a new documentary.

This is Joan Collins, which airs tonight on BBC2 at 9pm, follows the 88-year-old star, who is known for sporting an array of shoulder pads as Alexis Colby in US soap Dynasty from 1981 to 1989, as she opens up about her life and relationships.

In one shocking moment, she revealed how her ex-husband film star Maxwell Reed - whom she married out of 'shame' after he raped her on their first date - tried to pimp her out to 'old rich men' for £10,000 a night.

Meanwhile she also explained how Marilyn Monroe told her to watch out for 'wolves' in Hollywood, including Daryl Zanuck, who later pinned her against the wall in an attempted sex attack.

Joan, who was born in Maida Vale, spoke about her childhood with her parents, Elsa and Joseph Collins.

She said: 'Mum was busy trying to please [my father] all the time and I hated it.

'I vowed I'm not going to depend on a man for everything. I have to have my own identity.'

She explained how she began landing film roles at the age of 17, dropping out of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, and quickly began earning up to £300 a week.

This freak had one of the most popular kids TV shows in the 80's, was a top BBC Radio 1 presenter, presented Top of the Pops, he was considered celebrity royalty back in the day.

Incredible to think that those behind him must have known about his true nature and both protected him as well as allowing him to do what he did to kids.

That said, there were a lot of people who thought he was creepy and had suspicions about him which turned out to be true in the end.

I forget what he died of but he got off lightly as everything about him only came out after he died.

The 70's are probably worse for child abuse.. 'Free love' and all that, very liberal times..

There was another show back in the day, It's a Knock Out hosted by Stuart Hall.

Another hugely popular show, it was hilarious, I used to watch it every weekend as a kid. Nothing to do with kids as the contestants were adults but the presenter was later (years later) convicted of child abuse..

Yeah, that one definitely woke people up here and opened the question of how could he have got away with it and who else was involved.. Big red pill for the country that one!

The UK was the second highest contributor to the EU coffers after Germany. We got very little in return as is being exposed with the current spat with France over fishing rights for example..

It's was all very one sided. For example the EU dictated what farmers here could grow, they paid them to not grow anything so that their favoured farmers in the EU could provide crops, much of which was thrown out if they didn't meet certain requirements. Enormous wastage.

The EU just takes and gives nothing in return. I've always said that it's a Nazi takeover without the war.. We got out and this country can easily stand on its own feet.

The only thing that would prevent the UK from succeeding are the useless politicians who are all bought and paid for by the banks and now the bog Pharma companies..

Awkward!

CNN host tries to stop colleague’s drunken rant against Democrat mayor

CNN host Anderson Cooper awkwardly tried to shut down his co-host’s drunken rant about New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio during the network’s New Year’s Eve coverage.

After Cooper and fellow CNN New Year’s Eve Live co-host Andy Cohen downed shots – presumably with tequila – on live television, Cohen unloaded on the Democratic mayor as Cooper repeatedly tried to get him to stop.

“Let me tell you something. Watching Mayor de Blasio doing his victory lap dance after four years of the crappiest term as the mayor of New York… The only thing that Democrats and Republicans can agree on is what a horrible mayor he has been,” Cohen shouted with slurred words, as Cooper begged, “Don’t go on a rant. Don’t, don’t, don’t… Is that how you want to start the new year?”

Cooper became increasingly uncomfortable as Cohen refused to cease the rant, grabbing his co-host by the coat as Cohen celebrated the fact that he wouldn’t have to watch the outgoing mayor celebrate “as the city comes apart” next New Year’s Eve.

After serving two terms as mayor of New York City, de Blasio was succeeded by fellow Democrat Eric Adams on January 1. De Blasio has been described as one of the worst mayors in the city’s history for overseeing a significant rise in crime and disorder in the city after taking over from the previous mayor, Mike Bloomberg.

Never liked him. His 'humour' is the epitome of the humiliate into submission agenda we've seen here since the 90's in an attempt to make an opinion 'socially unacceptable'..

>It's almsot like the cult is being compelled to use ALL assets to deceive their victims

'Victims' are reeled in as well.. Set up for humiliation via their 'humour' or fake 'outage'.

It's used successfully here and takes on another form of 'gang stalking' when it draws in people who feel the need to protest, adding to the humiliation.

As a result, no one dares speak up against the politically correct agenda in fear of being humiliated and ostracised from society, no matter what the subject..

It's used in all sorts of ways, the most recent being against anyone who speaks up against covid..

If something is deemed to be socially unacceptable, or a threat to their agenda then the technique is used to squash it. The weak minded who don't use critical thinking are the ones who fall in line.

However I do think more people have wised up to it over the past several years.

Agreed.. He's part of a generation of 'comedians' who thrive on putting down their victims under the guise of humour. Ritual humiliation..

Observational humour disappeared a long time ago in the UK..
